Senses by Lock’d Escape Room was the second room of the day for our group of 4. From the start, it felt inspired by The Dome, both in theme and atmosphere. The story stayed present throughout the experience, and the puzzles were nicely aligned with the narrative, which helped keep the immersion alive. Where the room fell short was in puzzle flow and clue design, similar to their other room Sleepover—the main difference between a good experience and a truly top-tier one. Clues within some of the rooms were vague and poorly structured, often leading to trial and error rather than logical deduction. It wouldn’t take much to fix this—some clearer visual or textual guidance could help players focus on what matters and understand which puzzles link together. As it stands, it can easily become frustrating, even for experienced teams. With a 40% success rate, it’s certainly challenging. We managed to escape with just over a minute to spare, which made the ending quite rewarding. Recommended with caution, as the concept and atmosphere are strong, but the puzzle design needs refinement to make the experience flow more naturally.
