Long ago, when China had an Emperor, he lived in a beautiful palace where a nightingale sang in the gardens. One day, the Emperor fell gravely ill and the nightingale came to sing for him to lift his spirits. The song was so lovely that Death was enthralled and didn’t claim the Emperor’s soul. Thus the Emperor and the nightingale have lived together for centuries… until recently. The nightingale has been captured and taken away. The Emperor is heartbroken and ill. You must find the nightingale and return it. You have tracked the bird to the Golden Tea House. Search quickly, as you only have one hour before Death comes knocking at the Emperor’s door.

We thought this room was a lot of fun. There was one puzzle set that had us hung up a bit, but we eventually got it. Fun different theme with great GM.

Did not have a good flow. Basic locks, no technology used. One key piece of puzzle was broken.
Poor flow, very random clues

Lots of puzzles in this one, and they start off easy and get pretty difficult as you progress. Some basic ones, and some unique ones. I liked the concept of having items hidden throughout the room that you need; makes it like a scavenger hunt within the room. Overall, a good room with a good design and interesting story.

Love a good asian themed room and this one was immersive. Really enjoyed the first room due to the fun puzzles and decor. When you get into the second room, it becomes very corporate vibes which was a weird shift. The room wasn't too difficult for veterans and a great room for newbies. There were a few traditional locks vs. interactive ones.

Fun room but some harder puzzles for sure so it took us a little longer.
