You and your teammates are members of a time-traveling resistance group from a dreary future where civilization itself has crumbled due to the rise of an Artificial Intelligence system gone haywire. A.L.I.S.O.N. (Artificial Lifeform and Intelligence System for Optimization of Nations) was created to improve society across the globe, but as it gained power, the system also became self-aware. Your team has arrived in the year 2233 on the very day A.L.I.S.O.N. took control of the arsenal of three global superpowers. She is not happy to see you. With time until chaos and destruction ticking down, will you and your teammates find a way to deactivate A.L.I.S.O.N. before you are short-circuited? The fate of the future is in your hands. Good luck. Curious to see how INSPiRE LABS and A.L.I.S.O.N. began?

I think Morty is going to someday update the rating system & add a βmeh π" option in addition to love/like/dislike. When they do, I'll go back and update this room as a "meh". I didn't DISLIKE it. This room is the other half of the 1963 room and as per the title, you are in the future to stop a rogue AI. It's very tech heavy. Granted we did this room almost 6 years ago, but I do recall being a little underwhelmed by the set design. The non-linear puzzles were decent, but there's a lot to do, so definitely bring at least a group of 4.

A few good, interesting steps. A good concept. A couple of the unlock mechanisms were not working properly, which led to missed progress and required us to take unnecessary clues. At the end of the game when we mentioned it to the game host they just shrugged their shoulders, which made me think it won't get fixed.

TLDR: good challenging room with a disappointing atmosphere Gameplay: the gameplay was pretty solid. Even with a group of six people, with varying levels of experience, we definitely had our work cut out on this one difficulty wise. A good thing about this room, it, even though itβs hard, itβs not unfair. Iβve done rooms before that said they were hard, and they were only hard because the clues were vague and dumb. Luckily this was not the case. Atmosphere: this is where I was very disappointed. All the rooms felt very bare and lifeless. I get this is a hard theme to make a cool environment with, but it felt like they didnβt try too much. I felt like if this room had a good atmosphere, it wouldβve gone from good to great.

βWe enjoyed the variety of thematic puzzles, which integrated well with story...β
