Motel Room 13

I honestly don't know why we enjoyed this room but we kind of did. I can't rate it positively though or recommend it. I think I just liked the hotel room aesthetics. This sounds cocky but we've done enough rooms that if we are not close to getting out at all, it's usually not a well designed room. Our GM was great though. I think the puzzle flow is pretty bad and they call it their hardest room but it's one of those rooms that is hard but not in a good way. Some of the components in the room didn't work, the GM had to come in, there was one math-y puzzle that was difficult in a really frustrating way, the puzzles just weren't satisfying.

Told to start off in a certain area but the only item found there can’t be used until the end of the game. Huge logic leaps and completing odd tasks with no direction. Was given a misleading clue that made a confusing puzzle even more confusing because the game master wasn’t paying attention. Game master bragged about no one escaping for at least three months and mentioned some groups don’t make it past the first puzzle. Merchandise and tipping was heavily pushed on us after the room. Game master unprofessionally reached out to me from her personal number hours after leaving the venue to ask again that we leave a review mentioning her name. Will not be back and do not recommend the venue or the room.

This room was hilarious and so much fun! There are tons of surprises and weird spooky happenings!!!!!
