201 escape rooms
Hostal 83 Hater by Hostal 83, the nineteenth stop on our escape room tour in Spain, is not an escape room but more of a competitive puzzle challenge. Similar to Abduction 5 Versus, it’s less sophisticated but much more spacious, offering 60 minutes of physical puzzles and mini-games designed to intensify the competition. We played with 4 players, which worked well, but up to 8 can play simultaneously—something I can only imagine would lead to total chaos! While the outside environment felt poorly maintained, the interior was functional, albeit basic, with the focus clearly on the abundance of puzzles rather than aesthetics. It’s an energetic and fun experience for anyone looking to try something different, but don’t expect escape room immersion. Recommended for all players, though be mindful of over-competitive participants as it could get ugly!
