201 escape rooms
What stood out the most in The W.E.N. Case from Clue Hunter was the host. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful, especially considering we arrived last minute hoping to play. We were lucky—they were about to head home due to a no-show and had no other bookings until later in the afternoon. Since this is a franchise escape room, expectations should be tempered in terms of quality and originality. The puzzles were decent, but some clues and objects were misleading—it wasn’t always clear whether we had found an actual puzzle piece, a clue, or just part of the evidence we needed to collect. If these elements were update/corrected, then this would be a solid game. Technical issues also played a role in the experience. A computer refused to turn on, costing us time, and one puzzle became impossible due to excessive smoke—likely a side effect of taking a last-minute spot in a venue that also hosts a high-smoke horror room. Overall, this is a fun option if you’re looking for a spontaneous game and don’t have other, stronger choices available.
