The set for this room is really fun & fits the theme perfectly. It is a little confusing at times, working out what you need to use for each area, but the mix of puzzles is superb (think Crystal Maze, with physical, skill, mystery etc & you’ll be about right) & you’ll need to use all your senses! Fab GM (thank you Anaïs!) made it so-able even when we (me!) were a bit confused!

Part 1 of the academy of spells. Nice mix of logic and mechanical puzzles. Break escape advertise this as hard, but it seemed pretty straightforward. The set and atmosphere was detailed and fit really well.
Mostly pretty linear, based around magic and potions with a few really nice props. Sorting the potion bottles (no spoilers) was a nice, “Ah ha!” Moment. We played as a four, this seemed ok. You could definitely do this with two.
My only gripe is chanting spells at doors and locks, but this is a personal thing and there are probably some who would enjoy that.
This from hadn’t been open long but she knew the game well and she stuck to the hint plan (only if we were miles off!) really well.
