I never leave negative reviews or even complain to be honest. But today, what I've just experienced was unacceptable. I really hope you take the time to read this so your staff can be informed and do better with future customers. I'm deeply offended to be honest. Many things was not up to standards today. The greeting We were greeted barely. The gamesmaster (whose name wasn't even mentioned) did not fancy a chat but that's fine. He gave us the waiver and left the room to chat with his colleagues who had also just entered. They came back together, when he complained that he had received another booking and had to stay an extra two hours. Very clearly in a bad mood. Introduction We were put in the room with hardly any briefing or story but as escape room fanatics with 200+ rooms under our belt, we wasn't too bothered. Puzzles I found a lot of the puzzles different and cool I was impressed. The only let down would be I personally couldn't reach 3 or 4 clues being 5'3 (which I thought was average height to be honest). I've never had this issue before. I also noticed that the mag locks were push button, for games masters ( I have prior experience working in escape rooms), and I after we "shot the clock" it took around a minute and half and five shots until he finally opened the door. And even more annoyingly the part where you sign with flags ... we had to do it 3 times because the staff was not watching. Cleanliness The escape room was filthy. I'm making you aware because if it was my business i would be very upset. Physical clumps of dust and fluff and dirt on the floor, I was hesitant to touch anything as a clean freak! THE INCIDENT Now I'm deeply offended and appalled and this is ultimately the reason I am complaining. I am 5ft 3 as previously mentioned and my boyfriend is 6"3. When my partner was sent for a clue they jokingly asked him if he was a victim of domestic violence. Now this isn't a joke. I was a victim of domestic violence and that's not funny. My partner and I was not arguing nor fighting we were actually hysterically laughing at how slow the staff was to answer the phone for clues or open doors. The fact anyone would hint at that is upsetting, deeply. I feel personally attacked and I'm very upset with this whole experience. I've been two three of your other locations before ... and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff were phenomenal... this location has disappointed me. Thoroughly. We won't be returning and I shouldn't have to pay for an experience to be laughed at, made fun off and made out to be an abuser.
