The Lost Cave of Evatek [prev. Journey Into the Jungle]

Super fun room. Old school escape room but doesn’t skimp on the fun. Flows well, fun theme and great story. Glad we got to experience it before it is retired

Decent gen 1 room. This is the only room at this location that the owners have kept from the previous owners but they will be replacing it with their own creation soon. There is an obvious difference in quality (for the better) between the two rooms at this location that the current owners have built themselves and this one. The set was okay and the puzzles were pretty easy and not very unique. I will say that it’s a good intro room for beginners. However, if you want the pizzazz that other highly rated Florida rooms offer (or even the other rooms at this location), then this one isn’t it. That being said, I still had a good time.

Fun puzzles that flowed well! The atmosphere was excellent and the room felt like we were adventurers!

I love this room! It was decently difficult without feeling impossible or tedious. I also loved the cave explorer atmosphere. I can't wait to see Evasive's next room.

Fun and challenging puzzles!!! With critical thinking and only asking for 2 hints, we escaped with about 7 minutes left. Trevor was on top of giving hints if we needed them and allowing us to take time to critical think, even though we even opted in for nudges if we were off a beaten path.

Very fun escape room with unique puzzles. The game master is outstanding!!!

Great gameplay! The flow is very intuitive and the atmosphere is immersive- definitely would recommend!

wow i did not expect to enjoy that room as much as i did walked into the room and was immediately disappointed by a lackluster environment and just a ton of combo lock puzzles (my least fav) yet the puzzles were actually really intriguing and even difficult but not in an unfair way the game throws a crazy curveball at you near the end which made the game intense but not unfair. i think the pacing and atmosphere of the room could use improvement, the story also wasn’t anything to write home about but it was still a really good time 6.5/10 - great room, not perfect and has areas for improvement but overall a solid time

Update: revisited this room under new ownership. They kept most of the decor and tweaked the puzzles. Chris and Trevor are exceptional people and their passion for escape rooms shines through! Really enjoyed this adventure. Clever puzzles, nice set up, helpful and friendly gamemasters!
