I played this room when it was still considered to be the Resident Evil 7 room. I played it with three of my friends.
I decided to play this room because I got a free ticket for it when I preordered the game "Resident Evil 7". They advertised this game as THE Resident Evil room and it was my first escape game ever.
The design was okay. Nothing overwhelming or special.
The story itself sounded nice, but the room itself did not fit the story. As a Resident Evil - lover, I was quite sad to realize that the room had nothing to do with the game at all.
The riddles were okay. Nothing too hard or anything, but since it was our first game, we did get stuck a few times.
When we did manage to find the last code and wanted to escape, the room didn't open, even though the keypad was blinking green. Therefore the gamemaster gave us bonustime just to put in the code like 5 more times and open the door. That was ... okay. But in my opinion she should have just opened the door from the outside since she knew we already had the right code.
The gamemaster itself was friendly.
The game was okay back then, but if it still looks the same nowadays (I don't know if that is the case), then it definitely doesn't hold up anymore.
We had more fun messing around with eachother in the room instead of playing the room itself.
Also - scary? Not at all. I'm quite easy to scare, but not even the atmosphere gave me a spooky feeling.
All in all: It was my first escaperoom ever. Quite boring to be honest. Nothing too special about it. 2/5
