A fun mix of time sets and both physical and mental puzzles set this game apart from others. One cool final puzzle, and a clean set.

From the games we played at The Code Agency, I would rank them as follows: The Poltergeist The Search for the Scepter of Light It Is Back We had fun.

Overall a great room and I can see why it makes the top list every year. In 2025 it’s starting to feel a little dated but it remains fairly innovative. The set design is top notch and we felt transported to the places we visited. There was a lot of voiceover story which was nice to drive the story but felt a bit long winded. We did feel that the room was lacking in puzzles however which is the reason we didn’t rate it as a loved it. Finishing an 80 minute room in 60 minutes left us feeling like there should have been another area, and the game felt like it should to fit better as well. The rooms otherwise could have used another puzzle or two per room as we felt each one went very fast. The room does contain climbing and crawling. We also felt the room was a little too GM/actor driven, with interaction in the actor required to do certain puzzles

I didn't enjoy this room too much. It was cute. The set design is really nice. But the room itself felt very short and the riddles weren't that interesting. Also - it was pretty dusty. My dust allergy kicked in insanely heavily - that never happened to me before in an escaperoom. We did have fun, but we always do when we're together, so I can't give the room credit for that. The room could use some improvements.

"The Search for the Scepter of Light" at The Code Agency in Düsseldorf is a decent escape room that features a time-travel concept where players navigate through various epochs. The settings effectively reflect different historical periods, providing a visually engaging experience. However, the transitions between different areas and the overall journey through time are fairly standard and not particularly thrilling. The puzzles are logical and fit well within the narrative, making the gameplay enjoyable, even if they aren't groundbreaking or highly innovative. The storyline serves its purpose but doesn't stand out as particularly memorable or unique. Overall, "The Search for the Scepter of Light" is a solid escape room that offers a good time. It's suitable for both beginners and experienced players, providing a fun and engaging experience. While it may not offer the most unique or thrilling elements, it's still a worthwhile option for those looking for a pleasant escape room adventure.

Ein toller Raum, den man auch gut als Familie spielen kann. Es gibt viele schöne Rätsel, toll gestaltete Räume und spannende und überraschende Momente.

Our 13th stop on our Escape Tour Germany 2024 delivered some truly fun and memorable moments, thanks to the engaging actors and the variety of themes across different spaces. Each section brought something unique, keeping the experience fresh and exciting. Most of the design and puzzles were well-executed, though one particular section fell flat and felt disappointing. Despite that, the actors made the experience worthwhile, elevating the immersion and energy. Overall, I’d still recommend this room, especially for those who enjoy strong actor interactions.
