Neighborhood Watcher

I have been looking forward to visiting Escape Ventures and they did not disappoint. We were from out of town and played all 6 of their escape rooms in one day. It was such a great time and I cannot thank the team enough for treating us so well and making us laugh, chasing us around, and giving us the best experience of a lifetime. Now for Neighborhood Watcher: Our experience was 100000% so much better because of our actor. This room deserves all the accolades and I remember thinking, if this is how I’m going to die, it’s probably for the best. The live actor added to the thrill of the experience because you were never really sure how much time you had to work on each puzzle. The puzzles were thematic and their pacing felt just right. You could request to have less jump scares, but somehow we forgot to ask and we ended up getting through the experience. This is definitely a divide and conquer situation and the references felt nostalgic for the 90’s kids in us.

This is such a great room, it's fun and thrilling at the same time. The acting was perfect and even though there is no time you feel the pressure to finish asap. One of my favorite from them.

The live actor in this room really made the whole experience feel more alive. There was a general sense of time pressure not knowing if the actor would be appearing again soon, and thematically, the actor's roles fit the room very well. The puzzles were not overly difficult, but they typically had two or more steps (like find the values, and find the order). And again, each puzzle seemed very in theme to the room. This room was a lot of fun for me. My group had specifically requested no jump scares which I think personally I might have enjoyed adding in, but certainly great without, and it was great that they were able to accommodate our request.

SOOOO much fun. Played with two and we made it out with a minute to spare. Our amazing GM Jenna completely crushed it! (Go for full scary!! 😆) 🎲 Great flow. Love it when a scary room doesn’t necessarily start in a scary environment. 🧢 Loved the hint system! I thought it was also a clever way of keeping things light for more timid players 🍫 The atmosphere and immersion are what really shine in this one- more traditional puzzles but still very fun and cleverly integrated into the story!

VERY immersive room- actors involved to help you feel like you are in the middle of the action… felt like being a kid again - would definitely recommend :) (note: did room with 2 of us and plenty for both of us to work together - would imagine anywhere bw 2-4 people would be good, more than that might get tricky for everyone to be involved (esp at the end)- was a great time!

Excellent room! Definitely a thriller and a lot of fun, but not too scary for our group, none of which are big horror fans.

Omg too many good things to say! The game master/actor was AMAZING! We asked to keep the scarey down to “non-existent” and not only did they honor that but she still kept us feeling we were totally immersed. Creepy at times but omg 10/10 love love loved the vibes the puzzles flowed everything was AH-MAZING!!! If you have done pins and needles in Clearwater Florida then think of this as a “mini me”

Six months later and we are still talking about this room. It was so immersive you really felt like you were there and we were all definitely scared.

Great room, one of the best! Super puzzles, good theming, great immersion and a live actor to make it even more intense. Recommend this company and this room in particular!
