The Aztec Catacombs room in Budapest is my personal favorite among the escape rooms I've experienced. Its design is excellent, perfectly capturing the Aztec theme with a strong Indiana Jones vibe. The room is highly immersive, making you feel like you're truly in an ancient catacomb filled with traps. A surprising and humorous element adds to the charm, and the music enhances the overall atmosphere, making the experience more realistic.
The difficulty level is moderate, with puzzles that flow naturally and don't require much external help. The storyline is clear, reducing the need for assistance from the Game Master. The room is packed with unique game elements I've never seen before. Additionally, it's located under an escape room bar, where you can enjoy a themed cocktail after the game, adding a nice touch to the experience. The cocktail was reasonably priced by Budapest standards, making the whole experience enjoyable and memorable.
