Loved the set design on this one- it felt like you were in the Disney haunted mansion. We would have escaped with 5 more minutes…lots of fun puzzles!

We liked this room a lot, however it was a duplicate of a game we have played in TN a couple years back, so we remembered most things in there. We prefer original games, but this one was a step above the one we played before as far as atmosphere goes. The place also reeked of weed when we finished our game and thought someone working there was either smoking in the building with a pen or just outside before coming back in. Not professional at all

The room was decent, about what we've come to expect from Breakout Games as a franchise. However, our big complaint was with the homeless man outside who accosted us upon entering and leaving, and the general safety issues at the downtown location. Upon arrival, there was a homeless man two feet from the entrance. When we tried to enter (and keep in mind this was mid day on a Saturday) he grabbed my husbands jacket and pulled down sharply, demanding money. I screamed and hit his arm. He called me a nasty word and we retreated inside. Once inside, the gamemaster tried to laugh it off, even though we were visibly shaken. He said the man was "harmless" and probably just kidding, and that they call him "The Watcher". We were not amused. Eventually, the GM said that next time we should just give him some food or a dollar and he will leave us alone. This was not okay. We decided not to argue with the worker, and to try and salvage our escape outing, but the mood was spoiled for my husband and I. Upon exiting, the man gave us a nasty look and once again called me an inappropriate name, but then laughed and pointed behind us where we saw a clearly high individual with his junk out, shaking it violently at me and my husband. We didn't know what to do, as we felt ambushed, so we ran across the street, risking getting hit by a car, and into the safety of another establishment where we called the police, who told us that there was nothing they could do unless we were actively in danger.

A fun and erie room! I really liked the set, felt like i was in a haunted house. I saw some unique puzzles I could have never imagined in here. With that being said, some were not so intuitive because they were so unique however, our awesome gm steered us in the right direction. John was a fabulous gm, giving us just the right amount of help and making it even more fun. Overall, a nice haunted house type room with unique puzzles!

Game play was good, it was evident what you’d be working on next but each puzzle had multiple layers
set was super cool! very immersive sound effects and lighting
John was lovely! Have us enough help to push us through without giving too much away

The story was flowing through all the puzzles and every puzzle was related to the story in some way
