Escape Poverty

In an effort to bring the topic closer to as large an audience as possible, low-threshold access is offered - again in the form of an interactive, artistic adventure game. In 2019, the artist Deborah Sengl and Michael Ginner from Time-Busters opened "ESCAPE!" in the Museums Quartier Wien. The first escape room that dealt with the explosive topic of escape. The unique artistic implementation and the direct involvement of refugees brought great interest and a lot of encouragement. Escape Poverty - Poverty is not child's play Escape Poverty is an artistic intervention on the subject of child poverty. The idea for this comes from the Austrian artist Deborah Sengl and is a reaction to the still dire circumstances in Austria, where every 5th child has to go to bed hungry. An unbearable situation - in one of the richest countries in the world. The experience in the Escape Room enables visitors to engage interactively with the problem of child poverty in Austria. A visit can stimulate thought and action. The project partners want to make it possible to experience what it means to be affected by poverty and how difficult it is to escape from poverty. This room escape mission can be played by 2 to 6 people .
