Enigma del Tempo [Enigma of Time]

We booked this escape room because we wanted to do one in every country we were visiting in Europe, and Naples was the place we could fit one in the schedule. We didn’t have high hopes based on reviews, but it somehow was worse than expected. All the tech was broken, so we had to communicate with our GM and track our time on a phone they gave us, but the wifi was also spotty, so when they sent us a message, it took a bit for it to come through. The cameras were down, so the one time we asked for a hint, we had to explain what we had done already via WhatsApp message to get a hint. Everything in the room that did actually work was clearly very worn down, and there were even two spots where the answers to puzzles had been written above the puzzle in red chalk that just no one had bothered to erase. Probably the worst-maintained room I have ever done.

A fun room with some cool puzzles. The lack of a game master was a little let down, and using a keyboard to chat with someone for clues (even though we didn’t use it) would cost you too much time. Fun and interesting!
