Birth Machine

Definitely worth the hype! If you’re able to go to Milan, you should book both Birth Machine & Time Machine like we did. Incredibly special experiences. Not a padlock in sight!

Easily one of the most surreal and unique rooms I will ever play with a very ambitious set, the ending is absolutely hysterical too

Bizarre, hilarious and brilliant. Probably not a game to play with your kids due to the adult themes but we absolutely loved it! 😂 Enjoyable room, made even better due to the humour involved

I’ve never laughed so hard or said “no way” as much in an escape room. What an absolutely delightful and zany experience. Highly recommended (as a couple, it was hilarious).

This is the more highly regarded of Mad Machines 2 rooms, but it really didn’t do it for me. On the positive side, it’s wacky, silly, unique, and a well crafted theme I’ve never seen anywhere else, which is a rare find these days. However, for me it lacked on puzzles, which is too core to the experience to overlook. The first half of the room is a more traditional escape room style experience, but the quality and difficulty of the puzzles varied too much. Some were overtly obvious and easy, and others were very subtle and we veered off course a couple times, but, it was still on track to be a great room. The next half though I really didn’t enjoy. It felt to me more like a series of tasks rather than puzzles, and it felt like a chore to finish. It wasn’t “bad” by any means, but it somewhat ruined the experience for me.

Birth Machine is a stunning, hilarious, and mind blowing immersive experience that stood alone in both theming and execution. From the very start, you’re lead into a detailed yet realistic scenes, solving crazy and racy challenges that never crossed a line into discomfort (which it definitely could have). From there, the game escalated and escalated into a series of tactile, bizarre, and extremely unique interactions, many of which I have never seen before. There were a few puzzles early on that were brilliant, but a little too subtle for me, even though this is probably a quirk of my particular play style. Nevertheless, this game starts with absurdity and just never lets up, leading to one of the best experiences I’ve had in an escape room. This is absolutely a must play for any enthusiast.

Incredible way to start our new year. Really well put together room from start to finish and great help from the GM. Can’t wait to try time machines as well. Every puzzle made complete sense for the room and flowed effortlessly from one to the other.

Such a unique theme and really well done! I'm so used to padlock heavy rooms that it took us a while to get into a stride and think a little more laterally, but we got to the end successfully and had a great time doing it!

The name of the room says it all: it is exactly what you get but so different from what you would expect! Definitely the most unique theme I have experienced in an escape room with riddles that were perfect for the room. Every detail made so much sense. If you are looking for lots of laughter and a fun time while also solving some riddles, you'll be more than happy here!

What an absolute riot! It’s like nothing we have ever done before and all of it had us laughing and surprised the whole time. The puzzles were very different and utilized all 5 senses in a way we have never experienced in an escape room.
