Sherlock's Study: What's Up Watson?

They tell you it is a scavenger hunt room. If you are looking for a traditional escape room they have those options. But as someone who has done many escape rooms this was a fun change of pace. This was also my first experience where the GM is in the room with you and I very much enjoyed that aspect because it helped in knowing where progress was good and when we were trailing off hard core.

Did not like this room. Way too scavenge heavy which greatly artificially increased the difficulty. It also sets you up for failure in other escape rooms if this is one of your first experiences.

This was a different style of escape room than I am used to and it was definitely a feeling of constant chaos but very fun. Wheelchair accessible.

My notes from back in 2015; I wish there was an “it was okay” rating on here: "I enjoyed it, as it was my first Escape Room ever, but I had hoped it was something that was more of a ""trail of clues"" rather than a ""tear the room apart and find stuff with stickers.""  It was nice to hear that we were the first ever two-person team to solve it, but we did get a little more help than usual because of that (although, each time, it was at the expense at one of our magnifying glasses, which we could exchange for hints).  I wouldn't NOT recommend it to someone, but my image of a perfect Escape Room experience goes well beyond this."
