Its been some years since Bobbie Tunstall has visited her old magical treehouse, but she keeps having dreams about it being taken over by menacing Bergen trolls!! As a child she would help keep these trouble making trolls away from her beloved friend Lauren, the flower troll whom she left in charge to guard the treehouse, but since Bobbie has grown up, havoc has rung out! Bobbie must help her friend Lauren, but the only problem is, she's forgotten how to get there! Can you and your team NOT ONLY help Bobbie remember but also help SAVE THE TREEHOUSE?

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ FREAKIN AMAZING ROOM!!! We played treehouse and out of 354 rooms now in 9 years it's in our top 20 without question. LOVED this room!!!!! Excellent quality build, theming, puzzle flow, all of the above 10 out of 10. Also, Maya was super cool as a person and great GM. Stayed late to run the game for us and was happy to do it. Great customer service and a sweetheart.

While we were able to book for just 2 people - it made it almost impossible to escape. We still had a GREAT time - but just know that the puzzles are built for bigger teams - there is a lot of real estate to cover - especially in the main room. A few of the puzzles are physical challenges - which we liked, but slowed us down with just 2 of us. Overall it's a beautiful room that would benefit for 4-6 people IMO. It's worth the drive from LA!

This room is hands down one of the best decorated rooms we’ve ever done. You truly feel like you’re in a whimsical fairytale. Props and decor 10/10. There were some puzzles that threw us off but overall we conquered the room! Our kids had an absolute blast and would highly recommend this room for families.

I rate this room a 5/5 (ck out my bio for my rating system). This room was UH-mazing!!! Apparently, the husband and wife duo that run the place built and designed all the rooms and it was very clear, they excel at their job! The set/theme was one of those where you just want to stop the game and truly appreciate all that surrounds you. It was so well-designed and had a lovely fairy theme. The puzzles were mostly seen before but the way they presented them was novel and at times, quite unexpected! There were 3 in our party and the GM made it clear at one point that we'd need to all work separately on different puzzles in order to escape. This was very helpful. I truly enjoyed experiencing this room and look forward to coming back to try their other rooms.

I have to start this review with saying that this is not a bad game at all. When it was new, it was probably a pretty good game. As it stands now, it's an ok game. It feels old in many ways. A lot of the decor is old, the puzzles feel old school, and all in all it ends up being an ok experience. I would not recommend this over all the fantastic rooms in the SoCal area.

Imagine being transported to a whimsical fairyland. That is the feeling captured by Treehouse! It’s a nonlinear room, which means that you might not see all the puzzles since others will be working on them at the same time but I particularly liked my set of puzzles, hence the heart rating ❤️ My puzzles were not as challenging as they were tactile, but there is a diversity of puzzles for everyone to enjoy. It’s a mix of carnival games with scavenger hunts and more. We were told by previous groups that have done this room to enlist more people because there were a lot of puzzles. I’m glad we had five in our team and I would recommend around that number when tackling this space. Lots to do and get ready to move around and climb. I also wanted to shout out our game master! I was in awe of the space and even the “bad guys” because they were so cute! Our game master was like, don’t awwww them! We found that really funny. Thank you Confusion Escapes for hosting such a great experience!

This was a really great room! Loved the interesting puzzles and the set design/decorations of the room. The story was cute and unique too. I would highly recommend! I only wish it was even more challenging, especially since they required 4 players for this room. I always appreciate when a room can add some extra puzzles or challenges for groups that are going through really quickly, so that we can spend more time in the experience we paid for. And if you’re going to require us to bring a group of 4, then I expect the room to be quite challenging to necessitate it.

No, but one puzzle was a bit deceptive, having 4 lights that would light up as you completed different things required to complete it. Only the 4th light never lit up. We wasted probably 10 minutes trying to get that 4th light to light up even though we thought we had already solved it, before they gave us a nudge that it was done. Afterwards they said the 4th light doesn’t light up by design just to be tricky… so that was a little annoyingly deceptive.

There is some crouching and crawling required, although they can escort you to another door through if you let them know you don’t want to crawl.

Accessibility

Would be tough for someone with mobility issues, as there are stairs that get used fairly heavily and crouching and crawling built into the game. But not everyone in the group needs to do all of that, so you can work around it too.

The attention to detail in the treehouse is amazing. Felt like a kid again climbing around and playing games here. You can tell that there's a lot of love and care put into this escape room. Lots of stuff to do here so I think at least 4-6 people would be a good amount. For the most part, it was fairly non-linear and the tech used here was pretty cool. A good challenge and a pretty rewarding feeling at the end for us. Very family-friendly too. Would totally recommend putting this one on the list!
