The Weeping Witch is a spirit that lures people close by mimicking the sound of a woman crying. When people hear its wails, they follow the sound into the darkness, thinking someone needs help. Once they get close enough, the Witch attacks and slowly sucks the life out of its victims. If you choose to enter Madam Ruby’s study, that is what is awaiting you. Will you be able to banish the evil spirit and end your family curse before the Weeping Witch consumes you too?

Best of the best. Amazing set in a small space. Very unique puzzles!

If you like horror and being spooked and using that adrenaline to solve puzzles as fast as possible I would 100% recommend this room! Although this room is a smaller escape room, the amount of stuff they have jampacked into it is amazing and definitely kept my group on their toes. I would highly recommend!
I loved the flow of the gameplay for this room, it definitely kept us on our toes and moving for almost the entire time
The level of detail used in the room and the effects you made the whole experience highly immersive
The staff were super fun and welcoming, definitely made me wanna come back in the future

The Weeping Witch is small room that plays like a large one. Tucked into a tight space, it delivers more cinematic flair and narrative finesse than rooms four times its size. NOTES *The room is almost a contradiction, making its mark through spectacle AND subtlety. *Speaking of contradictions, despite the grandness of the room, it does play better with fewer people. Our team of five had at least one too many, and three would have ensured that everyone could be involved in every puzzle. *Puzzles are layered and elegant, and as they unlock and unfold the room comes alive and new ones appear. *The fear factor is calibrated with a few jump scares and tense moments. But even our most easily spooked teammate (who did scream, twice) walked away unfazed. *An early “protective ritual,” turns out to be a way for the in-game actor to track your movements when the lights go out, and probably did keep the actor from bumping into us. *The in-game hint system is totally in world and occasionally shakes its head when you’re on the wrong track.
David our GM was amazing

Loved this room. Challenging and very creative hint system/timer. I appreciated the actor not touching us because this was my first scary room. This was the final Crossroads game and I got over my fear because we enjoyed their other rooms so much. Hopefully they will have a fourth room one day!
Really fun theming and love acting

This room was so awesome and a terrifying experience! One of the best I've done. There were 5 of us in this room which made solving some of the puzzles a little harder from all the cross talk. But you definitely need at least 4 people for it as there's lots to do and it's pretty challenging. Highly recommend this one. Not for the faint of heart!

I often speak about a certain quality of cinema to escape rooms, especially horror games. Games like Catacombs, Judgement Day, and The Courtyard use the medium to put players into their own horror films with actors, narrative / puzzle integration, and detailed sets. The Weeping Witch combines the narrative and actor interactions of the best cinematic escape rooms with the traditional, puzzle driven gameplay of classic escape rooms. It’s a strangely segmented room, but that separation allows the room to both work as an intense theatrical experience (with moments of levity) and a fully designed escape room. I played with a mixed experience group and everyone did something - even with a full team of six. The diversity of puzzles was refreshing - but they also consistently engaged with the set and forced careful observation. Even minor moments felt satisfying. The set based effects (including the actor) made the room feel like a haunted house at times. It was usually telegraphed to an extent, but mainly to build anticipation. With a large group, it’s difficult to ensure both collective safety and that every moment is collectively experienced, but through largely invisible game design we were seamlessly directed to both safe spots and the best scenes. There were solo moments, but they served largely as introductions to these moments - not exclusive events that gave feelings of FOMO. While I think occasionally the passiveness limited the effect of the scares, it was undeniably super fun and those moments are powerful, cinematic moments (and the more tactile moments felt visceral in their own way). This was a dream of mine and I’m so happy I got to experience this incredible room. Very few horror games master both puzzles and scares and this made The Weeping Witch a rare treat.
Genuinely well designed, layered puzzles with a good mix of tech, difficulty, and skill set.
While small, the set and effects were excellent and cinematic
Olivia and Molly were absolutely excellent!

We had a great time and Cora was a wonderful GM. This was a good experience first horror experience. The scares had a theatricality to them that I could appreciate even though I’m still not sure if horror is “my thing.” I’m definitely excited to try some more horror games though. The gameplay is fairly nonlinear, and I found it a bit overwhelming at first, but then things started to fall into place. I thought a few of the puzzles were quite neat. I think the strength of the room is handling both horror elements (guessing… since I’m new to horror) and gameplay elements well, and keeping the two separate (for the most part), but it’s not really a room where the horror elements have “gameplay mechanisms” associated with them, if that’s what someone is looking for.

I’m a big baby when it comes to horror-themed escape rooms—I just can’t think straight. But since it was my birthday, I was feeling adventurous and decided to book this room. The whole time, I tried my best to avoid any direct contact with the witch, but eventually, I found myself face-to-face with her. That moment was both terrifying and unforgettable! Although reviews recommend no more than four players due to the room’s size, we had seven, and it was still a lot of fun. We ended up escaping with 9 minutes and 44 seconds to spare, and it was one of the most funnest rooms I’ve ever done!

Just a bunch of unrelated puzzles stuffed into a really small room. They had lots of space in the lobby and hall so it didn't make sense to push 6 of us into a little 12x12 room and line all the walls with puzzles and props and shove a big round table in the center. They turned off the lights several times and had a guy dressed up in a sad Halloween costume jumping in front of us. Weak theme and weak puzzles don't get better by turning out the lights. Big thumbs down on this one.
