It's 1970 and serial killers are topping the news while the Beach Boys are topping the charts. The city is on edge and just last night there were blood curdling screams reported from a Hollywood estate. With the mysterious absence of the family the next day, the police are convinced this was the work of a serial killer. While crawling all over the scene, the detectives received a disturbing message that he will strike again in 60 minutes! As the task force, you must solve the crime by finding the weapon, the motive, and the suspect in order to nab him. Be careful, he might be among the crowd of concerned citizens watching you.

Yes, it’s an old room, and yes, the props are falling apart, but I can forgive that. What I can’t forgive is the puzzling. We had a hard time determining what clues went to what lock. Nothing was clear and there were also leaps in logic that didn’t make any sense.

This game is pretty new. I believe it’s less than 6 months old and it is a gen 1 room with low quality props. The game has a ton of locks and absolutely no direction in between each puzzle. Ie: you solve a puzzle and then you need to try that combination on 5 different locks because none of the locked items match anything you were just doing. Also lots of the puzzles were missing an element of order.

I enjoyed the story line but it was still new and the mechanics needed to be redone. Would like to try again but got thru 88% of it
