Attn. Agent, your mission should you choose to accept it: pull off the ultimate museum heist. A priceless Monet painting has recently gone missing from the Barclay Museum of Historical Art. We have reason to believe it’s been nabbed by the museum’s curator, Vincent Hahn. Your mission — slip through the museum galleries undetected, break into Hahn’s office, recover the painting, and high-tail it out of there before he returns! The Heist is the second escape room we released and it still remains one of our most popular games to this day!

the set design was good but some of the puzzles were a NIGHTMARE. Some also just weren’t working… I love The Escape Game but this is their weakest room

A well-crafted set can't save this room from some bad puzzle designs and an overdone story with little uniqueness to it. There were a couple puzzles that made little to no sense to me in their design choice, and I found myself questioning choices in the room way more than appreciating them.

Loved the room! Had a nice variety of puzzles and was able to do it with four of us.
Fantastic game!

This is a simple and fun room that would be good for inexperienced players. I had fun and enjoyed the art theme but it was just a little too easy. I think someone who’s done less rooms would enjoy it more than I did.

Loved the variety of puzzles, both technical and mechanical. Really dislike the fact that the reservation isn’t private. We were a party of 3 but when we got there, 4 other people (3 of them children) had signed up. Seven was too many.

Fun room that I'd recommend for anyone, though beginners may struggle a bit. The sets were well done and puzzles felt fair. Ideal for a group of no more than 4-5 just due to space, but this company allows for strangers to join and it felt very cramped with a full 8 people. Very linear too so larger groups will be left standing around - keep that in mind when planning!

Some good puzzles, good theme but some puzzles could have been executed differently to be more interesting. But we enjoyed it with my friend that he was visiting out of town

Overall, this was one of my favorite rooms in the Escape Game. I do prefer heist-like experiences, and the idea of having to break in and get out appealed to me. Whether or not the puzzles work can make or break the experience. All of our puzzles worked and our game master did not have to intervene too much! We had a group of eight people, and there was a range of experiences, from beginner to veteran. Because of this, I think that we solved the puzzles too quickly. I would have wanted to have taken more time just so I can fully appreciate the props and the decor around the room, but the art-related references were all aligned with the story. This location is in the Century City Mall, and they don't validate for parking. I know they said they're working on it, but just come prepared to spend money to park.

Everyone has their favorite within the Escape Game, while this is not mine. I would say it was a good old who stole the painting kind of scenario. We had a team of 8 and because communication was top notch and everyone was an expert. We cleared this room in what felt like record time. Would only really suggest 4 people for this room to try and get everyone involved. Still a fun time and I do support this company in setting a good standard for all of their rooms.

The first room in this multi room was very promising. It doesn’t look like an escape room until you really start exploring and finding hidden puzzles. Then it all goes downhill. The theme got a bit muddled. One of the puzzles wasn’t working. And our GM basically tried to walk us through the whole room step by step even though we said we didn’t want hints unless we asked. The company doesn’t make bad rooms, but this is our least favorite of the 6 or so we’ve played at The Escape Game.
