We have been to Red Door before and have enjoyed our room. This time we played The Gift and were really disappointed in the room. It was a hard room 8/10 but the clues were disjointed and we needed several hints just to know what went with what. At the end I asked the game master how a clue we couldn’t get worked and she was unable to answer my question. My partner and I have done over 150 escape rooms combined and have done hard rooms before. This room was hard because the clues were muddled and one was broken. On a positive note. Our game master was very sweet and welcoming. And we will definitely come back for another game.
Did not flow well. Clues were very disjointed. We needed several clues just to know what went with want

this was a cool room! enjoyed the atmosphere, but I do wish the puzzles connected a lil better. they weren’t kidding about the “red herrings” (name of the antique shop a part of the story)

Christmas edition It started off cute. All of the theming and design was cozy and we enjoyed. Some of the puzzles you could tell were reworked for the overlay. It was annoying that with two people we bypassed a puzzle but still had the box to open. So we kept trying codes on it without knowing we no longer needed it.
In the Christmas version, There is a puzzle box and 4 items that clearly should go together and be the code to said box. But it wasn’t, so that was a little frustrating.
In the Christmas one, Not a reset error. But we skipped a puzzle because in the end we didn’t need to solve it with two of us. But we kept trying to input codes into this box, not knowing we didn’t need to.

**Christmas Edition review** So many clever ways of converting regular puzzles into Christmas themed ones! Atmosphere was cute. Game master was super friendly and helpful.

Note this was not the Christmas version, but did not see the original version listed. Nice room with some puzzles that we have not seen before. There was a couple story line points that didn't make sense to us but overall gameplay was good

Boy this room was tough. My wife and I did this just as a last minute thing while shopping. I would highly recommend more than two people to do this room. Even though we didn’t escape, the puzzles in the room were super challenging in the best way possible
