This was a blast! So many fun surprises, excellent theming, and very immersive. My hubby and I have done 75+ rooms, and there were some things we'd never seen before. Love this location and have made special trips from Miami to try all their rooms over the years. Hope they will think up something else just as fun in the future too! P. s. Lt. Weston, Fiona, and Sam Porter! :D

The selection of quality escape rooms games in south Florida are very few and far inbetween. So we were pretty surprised to find this little hidden gem that had real homegrown charm and some really cool ingenuity and engineering baked in the mix. Upon entry, seasoned escape room vets might think it’s a bit tacky and looks a bit like a colorful playpen. But it becomes clear pretty quickly this is a really unique and challenging space. It’s somewhere between linear and non linear, with enough puzzles to keep everyone busy while you can break off and do your own thing. Even with the amount of rooms we’ve played by now, we still utilized a fair amount of clues to beat it. The clues were also not too obvious or too vague, still making you “earn” the solution Then there’s some fun twists on tried and true puzzles, with a handful of ones we haven’t seen as of this writing, and some really awesome, smile inducing tech and surprises that play out in the story as you progress. The only thing I’d wish for is maybe more atmospheric vibes (like a painted ceiling), no house lights/overhead fluorescents as the main and only source of light, and also some more foliage to sell that it’s an island. Overall, it’s a solid room and probably one of the best ones the area has to offer.

Awesome room with amazing use of props and effects. Fairly story light but otherwise we have only good things to say about the room. Very immersive and our GM(the owner) was awesome. Would recommend this room wholeheartedly.

If I had an option better than the heart I would use it. The owner reached out to us to confirm that our booking was correct, and during the game changed up his hint strategy to ensure that we would make it out of the room and experience all the puzzles. I wish more owners were like this

I say not at all but there is sand on the first room that could cause issues for those with mobility problems. For what it's worth this is advertised when you book the game, so they are very forthcoming with accessibility information

We played all three rooms at Nexus in one night! It was an absolute blast. This was the third of the three rooms we played and this was my third favorite. It was a unique and immersive set design, and non linear game play which is always my preference. Based on my experience I think I would recommend playing this room first if you were going to go for all three. If you could only do a room or two while you are in town, I felt the other two were stronger - although with that said, depending on your situation, one is scary, and one is adult themed, so this one would be your best bet of you needed something more neutral!

The staff was very nice and welcoming. It was a great experience overall with an enjoyable room. Plenty of space to move around the two rooms, neat effects, and a great variety of puzzles to solve. We had 6 players and ended up dividing and conquering the rooms. Would definitely recommend!

We did all three rooms at Nexus in one go and out of all three, this one was my third fave. That being said, its still an excellent room with some challenging puzzles and wonderful set design. The story itself wasnt the strongest, but escaping was fun, engaging, non linear and kept all four of us busy at all times. I think Nexus is the best escape room company in Miami and all their rooms are worth doing!

Super fun non-linear room. I was super happy with the amount of props that interfaced with the puzzles. The only issue I had was I really think that the set design could’ve used a little more, but the puzzles alone made me love the room.
