Atlantis: Dive To The Forgotten City

To preface, I used to work here. Delving into only the games themself, this is a big warning to just not play this one. The game is falling apart and multiple key items are rubbed off/worn out, making the game just a huge nuisance. The puzzles don’t particularly stand out either, and can be frustrating to newer escape room players. If you want to play one of Top Tier’s easier games, just play Outside In. Atlantis is not worth the price nor the time.

I would skip this room completely. Felt like a scam. Looked like they built it years ago and haven’t touched it since. Bunch of things broken and there was a literal layer of dust over everything. So sad to see people let locations go like this. Hope someone doesn’t come here for their first time thinking this is what escape rooms are like.

No spoilers here, but the puzzles were mostly obvious or had a defective component. I had high hopes for this place, but I don’t feel like management is reinvesting in quality.

We showed up a tad bit late so they had to start our time before we began playing and we weren’t sure we would get to finish. Not only did we finish but we escaped in record time. This room is definitely in need of some updates. Our kids had a blast and enjoyed the environment but we left feeling rather lackluster about it.

Escape room was the least impressive room I have done in awhile. It was underwhelming. The puzzles were broken and the clues were not very good. Game masters were nice guys. Hopefully they update that room everything is faded and broken.

Top Tier's oldest game, definitely shows. Some cool lighting effects, but the room itself is definitely in need of repair.

I have only been to three others escape rooms, but this was definitely the least impressive. I guess I have gotten extremely lucky with the other ones. My friends and I did the Atlantis experiment. Everything was very old and worn out, so it made it hard to read, and you had a flashlight to look at everything. The host seemed tired and cranky. Maybe it was an off night for him. All around definitely the jankies escape room I’ve been to. The lights being off just made it annoying, especially when all of the paint was used and worn off. Decorations were half broken and mediocre.

If i could give it a—Meh. I would but I did enjoy it for the memories purely. As far as puzzle satisfaction—I wouldn’t necessarily say they were my favorite/however were novel to the story/room itself. My biggest criticism is not necessarily the puzzles themselves —as they were honestly kind of fun—But it was the WEAR AND TEAR ON EVERY PROP. I swear—every prop was broken or damaged in some way! Not that it necessarily affected the puzzle itself but it kind of ruined the immersion in a way. In many ways too—the theme of the initial set up was very nicely designed—BUT then lost it near the end of the game—so the set design was not the most cohesive either. I would say Gen 1 to 2 in locks—medium difficulty relying on reading and observational skills mostly! Slight scavenger aspect in the beginning but nothing too intense. Overall I had fun—but i think a refurb would do it wonders.
