As you and your fellow adventurers stumble through a mystical wood you find yourselves in front of an old cabin. As you head towards it you begin to hear the echoes of a cursed tale — the story of a malevolent Witch whose wickedness was challenged by a brave and noble Warrior. Their battle raged but ultimately it seemed the Warrior’s blade was no match for the Witch’s dark magic and thus the Warrior was transformed into stone under the Witch’s curse. If you wish to survive and find your way home you need to break into the Witch’s cabin to create a magical elixir that can transform the Warrior back — otherwise you may find yourselves as the next stone statues! Malediction is a heavily interactive escape room experience. It emphasizes immersive interaction and team building quests within the game between the players and the actors. This game features a ‘Dark mode’ that players can select to change the tone of the game to a raunchy mature rated-R version. Pro Tip: Do not play ‘Dark Mode’ unless you are ready to be berated and humiliated by the actor. It is not a scarier version. This game has strobe lighting and fog effects and is 60 minutes long.

The room was better than what I was expecting. This was one of those rooms where your mind makes it worse than what it actually is. Definitely worth a try! Replaying the room may also offer a different experience depending on who you do the room with. We appreciate our game master for their creativity and interactive hints with the room!

This was my first time doing an escape room with a bigger group and it was a BLAST! I love fantasy rooms with all their whimsical elements and our gamemaster Brenna made this such a funny experience for us!!!! Excellent props and gameplay and made so many memories, perfect for a group of friends!!

Loved this room and the experience. So much fun and a lot of laughs due to the raunchiness. Definitely would recommend for adults especially the after hours edition! Brenna was an amazing game master and made the experience even better!

Doing dark mode made me forget we were doing an escape room and not a "depraved improv fever dream." This was the most out-of-pocket, unhinged experience for an escape room I'd recommend for adults with dirty, crass humor. Anthony did a great job playing all the "characters." This room is the same as Spell Breakers (kid-friendly version). You have the option to do kid-friendly, normal, or dark mode (but you may as well pick kid-friendly or dark mode)

Very raunchy experience on dark mode but super chaotic and fun! I would say as a jumpy person some parts freaked me out but theres nothing horror related in this escape room! For the level of raunchy in the game you do have an established safe word as well as a word to turn it up. We had an absolute blast with Anthony as our GM who also has the patience of a saint with how dumb we were sometimes. I will say this is cominf from the perspective of 2 theatre majors

this was the most unconventional, dirty, and vile room me and my group have ever done and we loved it. when we were given the option of kid friendly, normal, or rated r, we thought we knew what we were getting into when we chose the rated r version. we learned very quickly that we had underestimated how well our game master would match our energy. dirty comments, cursing, (fake) bodily fluids, emulating sexual acts multiple times. this room was batshit insane and we loved every second of it. we had insult battles, cursed each other out, and then the animals would still help us. they joined in on bits we did within our group as well, which made it so much more funny. part of the experience is definitely up to the skill of your game master, but if you get nick, just know you’ll be in for one hell of a good time.
the gameplay was so unique, as we unlocked pieces of the puzzles THROUGH character interactions. i’ve never played a room like that before
the room design was very pretty and whimsical, and very small attention to detail was not unnoticed by me or my group
our GM nick was the funniest person on earth. he matched our energy instantly

I did the Dark Mode, and this has to be one of the most funniest and underrated escape rooms I’ve done yet! I had such a great time and it was all jokes and fun while still solving the puzzles which was a great mixture of both. I highly recommend!

The GM was amazing just wanted to start by saying that- he really made us laugh! But this type of escape room really isn’t for us and we sort of knew that going into it but decided to give it a try anyways because we’ve reached our limit on good escape rooms left in LA. Definitely similar feel of the amnesia room - more experience-based and less escape room with actual puzzles and things to solve. The atmosphere is amazing and the ending to the room was unique. Besides that it’s just two rooms that have little to no puzzles to solve and just more speaking with the in room actor/puppeteer the entire 60 minutes.
