You’re about to inherit a vast historic estate—if you can clear your name of murder. You are Robert Montgomerie, the only remaining direct heir to the Kildermorie Estate and the Montgomerie family fortune. You’re attending a family gathering hosted by your Grandfather, Hugh ‘Monty’ Montgomerie, the 9th Earl of Kildermorie, to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium. As the guests raise a toast, a scream fills the air…and your Grandfather is found dead in the library. It looks like MURDER, and as the direct heir, all fingers are now pointed at you! Will hidden clues reveal distant family secrets? With the police on their way, can you gather enough evidence and piece the story together to provide your innocence? And the biggest challenge of all: Is it even remotely possible to solve the mystery before the clock strikes 12?

Really wanted to like this one more cause some of the mechanics are cool and I think the bones are there but one of the puzzles that was pretty tricky wasn't working appropriately, making it even more difficult and GM wasn't super helpful with it.

We’ve played over 50 rooms and this was one of the worst we thought. It is not intuitive and, even with clues, still didn’t make much sense many times.

A pretty standard escape room. Nothing special to report in either a positive or negative direction. There are definitely better rooms at this location, and in Austin, but if you’ve done all of the other ones, it’s not *not* worth doing - it just wouldn’t be my first choice.

Atmosphere and set design was beautiful and well thought out. However, the game master we were given contributed unhelpful and unprompted “hints” often restating a puzzle we had already done or were already doing. This was the second of two rooms I had booked that day (“Under Pressure” was the first and an awesome gameplay, would definitely recommend) so this negative experience tarnished my overall review of the company. Under different circumstances I would rate this room much higher, but a passionate game master is crucial to a quality game.

The room design was great, however the staff and game master were just awful. We were rushed, called prior to arrival stating time would be taken off due to another group right after us, and threatened time would be taken off the game, even though we showed up on time. The nudge system they spoke about was nonexistent, the hints we received were repeated multiple times, which as it turns out didn’t help the first time. Had we not felt the way we did by the technicians themselves, this room would have been one to recommend.

Lot of fun. Little longer than I expected. We got out with less than a minute left. Room flowed decently. Definitely worth a play if you’re up for a challenge. It ain’t easy!
