The design of this room was very well done and the theme was unique! There were several unique puzzles and our whole group had so much fun!

All of the rooms at Redfox are engaging, thoughtful, and unique! U-boat has excellent gameplay, challenging puzzles, solid storyline with puzzles seamlessly integrated, and a couple of amazing special effect moments. Highly recommended!!

One of the best rooms we’ve ever done! Great puzzles. A couple of big surprises. Love that for some things, they give you 2 of something, so you aren’t crowding around 1 thing. Good for a group of four escape room addicts. Would definitely be a challenge for newer escape room fans. They said they recommend doing their other rooms and working up to this one.

This is another amazing room from Red Fox. The production quality, puzzles, and integration of puzzles and atmosphere are the best we’ve seen anywhere. The staff is great and will help you finish it won’t hint if you don’t want or need it. This is a great room to even bring along non-puzzling friend because the effects and flavor are so good. Puzzlers will enjoy the variety of different puzzles with fun implementations.
Gameplay
It was super fun, and flowed really well. There were lots of quality of life bonuses like second copies of puzzles. The puzzles were varied and unique.
Atmosphere
The set design and special effects and props were all incredibly well done and immersive. The overall production quality was extremely impressive. The flavor and atmosphere were especially well tied into the puzzles.

Our GM Lily was incredibly friendly and helpful! She let us look back at everything after we were done and answered all our questions and gave us extra cool background on the room.

This could be good with a lot of people because the atmosphere is so good even non-puzzlers could enjoy it. There are also two branches to work on most of the time.

A very solid room by Red Fox. Parallel paths throughout the room were well done. Theming was fantastic. Only downside was room felt a little short for 5 experienced players (especially compared to Red Fox’s Body Shop). Would recommend this room for sure

Puzzles felt smooth, and there were two points where I liked how the set reacted to what we were doing in the story/puzzles. The set leans towards playability vs realism (importantly, it's not crowded like an actual sub would be).

We had trouble with one of the puzzles, which I think (but can't swear) that we solved correctly but nothing happened. We resolved it and then it worked; not sure if it was flaky or if we got something wrong the first time.

They're right on a T stop, which is probably the most convenient way to get there. Parking in Boston in general seems questionable.

This was the closest challenge I’ve had in a while! Our group of three had to be working hard the whole time, often working in parallel. It was a nicely nonlinear room for that, with several puzzles best solved by parking someone in front of them to churn through the decoding.

Wow. Red Fox's reputation preceeds them in this room and it's seen in every little detail. From the authentic looking valves and dials in the engine room, to the set dressings and mechanical elements, this room is FUN. Bonus points if you're into ships and submarines like our group was. A FANTASTIC room by a group that shows they really love the craft.
