Rita's Relics

I’m going to give this location a heart because this room exceeded my expectations. Usually, when there is an escape room housed within a larger operation, I worry that less care has gone into designing the escape room but I can confidently say that I was wrong! I’m curious now about the other excursions in Margarita Adventures and I can’t wait to come back when their other rooms open up. Rita’s Relics as an experience was a rollercoaster ride throughout. There was that feeling of the satisfied “ah”after solving a puzzle, production value is a 10/10, and the rooms really made use of the space. Our game masters were all wonderful as well! The room could be tackled nonlinear at times but it was mostly linear. My hubby and I did it with just the two of us, but I can see a group of 3-4 breeze through this room. Parking is not a problem at this location. This is a gem of a stop if you’re in the San Luis Obispo area!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this immersive escape room. There were a variety of unique puzzles and advanced technology. It shows that a lot of hard work and effort were put into the room. This was probably one of the more challenging rooms we’ve done in a good way. Our GM, Neil, was great and helpful.

This room was surprisingly fun. Definitely didn’t expect such an immersive experience based on the location (Zipline park and tour company). We had a blast and really enjoyed it!

The best escape room by far! I'm a newbie in escape rooms but this one has so much variety in figuring out the puzzles. Oftentimes you were rewarded with a cool high tech effect when figuring out a clue. It's obvious that a lot of time, thought and energy went into this room. I look forward to their next room!!

Was impressed with the set design/tech in this room considering this isn’t an escape room heavy area. The designer definitely did their homework. The room is set to try and tell you a storyline throughout which is fun and the puzzles were fairly novel. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and play!

Can’t believe I got my very first Esc-onuts for my 420th room on 4-20-24. Thanks to the staff at Margaritas for helping me celebrate. Go play this room.

Do this room! This room is done SO well! The puzzles, the immersion, we loved it! It’s definitely challenging, but so much fun and exciting! It’s full of surprises. Such a great mixture of technology and locks! The name of the owner escapes me but he was SO lovely! Overall amazing experience!! 10/10 would recommend.

I LOVED this escape room. It was technically very well done and the puzzles were fun, challenging and different. We were so pleasantly surprised. Do this room if you can!
