Don’t get too Chilly! Dark Winter’s Night was such a fun and interactive experience! From the set design, the gameplay, to the theatrical experience, we truly had a great time.
What this escape room does well is the engagement of your surroundings, the variety of puzzles, and the skills required to escape together. Each puzzle was so different and used a variety of Gen 1, lock and key, and high tech puzzles without distracting from the storyline. The gameplay was so interactive and we had quite a few laughs!
A few things I would say though is that the space is physically small, so I would recommend 2-3 players. We played with just the 2 of us, and it was perfect! 3 maximum so that each player is able to engage and solve the puzzles without stepping on one another. Another thing I would say is that this escape room is color-puzzle heavy, so my friend had a challenging time solving some of the puzzles. Of course we worked together and communicated heavily, but to make it more accessible, we probably would have appreciated if it wasn’t so color-puzzle heavy.
Overall, we had a great time with this escape room! It perfectly hit the Christmas theme and aesthetic and would highly recommend this room!

Gameplay was SO much fun! Very interactive, flowed really well with one another, and everything just made sense. What I appreciated about this escape room is how observant you had to be and how everything was intertwined with one another. There weren’t any red herrings and there were a lot of Aha! moments along the way.
We had 2 game masters. They switched in between our game play, but over all, both amazing GMs! I enjoyed how they were able to keep us engaged and gave us helpful nudges in the right direction. I’m just sad that we weren’t able to geek out with them at the end of our gameplay because they had a busy line up since we played during spring break. Lol.
Can’t miss it! It’s on the boardwalk at Broadway at the Beach and located near WonderWorks (the upside down house).
