Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang need your mystery-solving help…or else! The town of Crystal Cove and surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts, and now the local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. But when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Inc. gets locked out, at the same time you get locked in! You soon realize that they’re able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. After discovering a secret dungeon and monster lab in the castle, you come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects??

This game master ruined our escape room. He kept giving us hints when we didn’t ask for them or we didn’t need them. It was very annoying. Some of the props did not work and felt a bit janky. Give it a like because the theme was very fun

This was cute. The Scooby Doo theme was integrated pretty well. We did this with 6 experiences players and needed 0 hints. I think it was a little too many, maybe 4 would be a better group size. A lot of hands-on tasks, which complimented the heavy use of screens. Game master was okay…. He didn’t seem particularly engaging, but he was fine.

It was fine. I’m not unhappy about doing this room, but not particularly the type of challenge I like best.

This was a fun and immersive game. Not particularly hard, but great if you are a fan of the cartoon. Not just for beginners there are a few puzzles that will require some thought and more advanced problem solving. Recommended to any level group if you're looking for a fun ride, but not hard enough if you're looking specifically for difficult puzzles. Also you should tell you game master in advance if you don't want them to give unprompted clues!!!

This room was exciting and we had so much fun. The puzzles were fun and satisfying and I liked how it worked with the story. Good production design. Could definitely see this in a theme park.

Had fun with this one. We had a rough start in the beginning because we were missing some keys but the game master restarted the room for us. Unfortunately we did not get out of the room. The puzzles were very challenging.

They need to fix the colored lamps as we spent too much time on this puzzle due to a broken one. We eventually used what we finally deemed the broken lamp to get past the puzzle but it bit us in the butt later on the last puzzle.
It flowed but well but we spent too much time on a puzzle because one of the light colors was missing due to a clearly broken light
Gameplay was pretty standard. Some work pieces but clear enough.

Our GM, Sabah, and the site manager were both awesome to chat with before the experience and during the game itself. Super helpful and eager to nudge you in the right direction if you were stuck. The GM was also super attentive as they'd quickly tell you if you didn't need something or might've left an item you would need behind. As for the room itself, it was quirky and cute with many of the trademarks of Scooby Doo. I did find it a bit annoying and distracting that the characters would randomly speak as it would seem like a clue until you realized it was just idle background chatter. The puzzles are overall simple but they did have a couple of good ones that really make you work for it. My only complaint on the puzzles is with the 2nd room. Despite a plaque with instructions on how to solve it, it was still not overly intuitive and was fairly confusing. We ended up needing a detailed hint giving us a clear example for this particular puzzle before being able to move on as it had a lot of pieces to it between two rooms. Overall, it was honestly enjoyable and well put together. Not the most capitaving and riveting story (honestly quite forgettable as you're kinda rushed out upon escaping), but an enjoyable escape room nonetheless. Not exactly a beginner level escape room but not an expert one either. A good choice if you want something gimmicky that still gives you a sense of satisfaction for figuring out the more complex puzzles. I would definitely recommend doing this room with a group of at 3 or 4 people, as you need to work across multiple rooms for some of the puzzles but there aren't that many puzzles that can be done at the same time.

The Scooby Doo theme was honestly the best part as it was cartoony and fun versus the usual realistic and dark themes. The colors and designs were bright and easy to spot, which was a nice change and is more kid or beginner friendly.
Medium
One early on puzzle in particular is very difficult not because it's tricky but because the elements you need for it are split between two separate rooms and the order is not simple to figure out without a nudge in the right direction.

Can be done with 3 easily enough. Anymore than 4 would probably result in people standing around with nothing to do.

If you have a smaller number of players you will find yourself dashing between rooms or yelling across them to connect or solve the puzzles.
This experience is very reliant on colors at times and can get a bit packed in the second room so I wouldn't recommend it for those with mobility issues or color blindness.

Parking is difficult. I recommend doing events at this site extremely early when Belmont Park isn't packed or arriving over an hour early to ensure parking.

Unique scooby game play and atmosphere. You’ll enjoy whether you’re a scooby fan or not. Lots of video which we don’t prefer but is typical in franchise style escape rooms
Definitely unique with the scooby theme
