We absolutely loved this game!! Wide variety of puzzles utilizing many different senses and skillsets, and even a couple of unique puzzle types and other mechanics that I've never seen before! Wonderful set design and storytelling as well, and a fun and unique hint system! Our team of two finished with... I think 10 minutes to spare? Maybe 5? I didn't look at the time lol. We worked our way through each puzzle with good flow but never felt like we weren't being challenged, this room felt like my personal ideal difficulty level. Our GM was also amazing, and completely respected our request to not receive any hints we didn't ask for. She was also kind enough to come help us open a lock we were struggling to open after we'd spent about five minutes repeatedly putting in a code she'd confirmed was correct (This was not a room quality issue, idk why we couldn't get the lock to open but the GM opened it without issue). This room was well worth the 2.5hr round trip drive! We will definitely be back to Upside Down Escape Games π¦
Shout out to the GM for telling us part-way through that we were "crushing it!" Super appreciated the little confidence boost :)
Great balance of high-tech and mechanical, and the luggage theme makes all the locks feel on-theme rather than out of place
Multiple puzzles would be difficult for someone who is color blind, one puzzle would not be doable by someone who is Deaf/HoH, and I doubt that a mobility aid bigger than a walker would fit in the first room.

Big parking lot nearby and lots of street parking as well!
It made me so happy to read this, thank you for this glowing review!

Loved this one! Great set, great story line that played into the puzzles well. My team of three had so much fun and got out with 2 minutes to spare! Not too easy, not too hard.. perfect difficulty level to have a good time!

This was the best hint system I have come across! No spoilers but do yourself a favor and ask for a hint even if you don't need it. This was an amazing game and we all had a lot of fun. The puzzles were a lot of fun and allow for a nice divide and conquer atmosphere. I loved the attention to detail and all of the added touches with the suitcases. It was a hoot. Owl pun intended.

This was our first room from the Upside Down team since they took over this escape room operation down in Mashpee and they didn't disappoint! A fantastic little game that absolutely flies as you jump from puzzle to puzzle- there are a few really fun puzzles and surprises that made our small group of two go WOW, too. The owners here are masters of making smaller rooms jam packed with stuff to do, and they certainly hit the mark once again since moving from Taunton. This is a must-do if you're in the area and looking for a new room to do.

Fun themed room of a trains station. 90% keys or combos to open boxes, but a few other random inactions which were nice to change it up. Puzzles themselves were varied and fun. Lot of math (they provide a calculator). There were also a lot of the same locks, so we would try the combinations on multiple locks until we found the right one. Puzzles were interesting and varied. We over thought several or missed something obvious (ended up asking for a hint when we just forgot there was another place we could look). Most of this is automated, but some parts are triggered by the GM. We had one we wasted several minutes trying to figure out what the next puzzle was when the GM just didn't trigger it (making it impossible until they did). We asked after what happened and were told the cameras cut out for a few minutes (possible, but my guess is from looking in the GM's room is they were talking and just not paying attention).

They say it is their hardest room (except for their 4 person minimum room with only 2 people). None of the puzzle were extremely difficult, just not always obvious.
Mechanical
Some automation but not much.

Lifting some things to mount on a wall but not heavy.
One room would be very difficult to move in with a wheelchair. There is also an audio clue which could be a challenge for those with hearing impairments.

A decently executed room and a good way to spend a rainy day with vacationing family. Puzzles flowed well and the set design felt appropriate for what they were aiming for. There's a little bit of lock confusion, but most were clear.

We played with 4 moderate-to-experienced players and blew through the room. 2 or 3 would have been enough and allowed a more leisurely pace.

The previous group ran over time (because the group before them had broken something), so the GM tried to expedite the reset. I think they missed cleaning up a clue from that group. It didn't affect us, since we had already figured out the aha.

Upside Downβs earlier iteration had some of my favorite games in the region. We were happy to find that the owners had purchased this location and revamped the games, as well as adding own of their own in place of a particularly outdated room. Baggage Bandits is a fantastic burst of prime early escape room gameplay (with some twists). The gameplay is silky smooth and immediate in a satisfying way. The set is stylized and fun, and often interacts with the gameplay in unique ways. The owners are very passionate about the industry and it shows in every game they work on.
The gameplay is fun, fluid, and integrated into the set.
Itβs a cute, stylized train station.
