The Barnyard Winds

Family of 4 plus one took on this experience. Very good story about getting all the farm animals back in place before the storm hits. This place is clean, modern and easy to find. Good use of local places and weather patterns. To be fair, with so many reviews giving this place and room head over heels reviews, we thought that we might be more “WOW’d” by this room. It was a good room. We enjoyed the experience…but no one in my group loved the experience.

This was our 75th escape room, and we've never seen a theme like this! It was fun for two adults, but we imagine kids would love it even more! As always, Captivating Worlds has amazing sets and very creative little touches. The only thing that kept us from giving this a "heart" instead of a "like" was that there was a mechanism towards the end that we think could have operated more smoothly. Luckily, there was an alternative to solving that puzzle, but if not, we would not have escaped because it was such a time sink. Overall, awesome experience that we highly recommend. Can't wait to do the rest of their rooms!

Definitely recommend! Owners are so welcoming and kind, and the GMs are attentive and showed genuine interest in ensuring we had the best game experience possible. The theme is very cute and unique, and the set design and puzzles fit perfectly.

Fantastic game. Perfect for four, we only had two but it was a lot to do. Wish I could do again!!!

Such a fun and refreshing theme. This one isn't just for the kids and it's actually quite challenging. Tons of puzzles and some unique elements you won't find anywhere else.

This was such an upgrade and colorful room. Meant to focus on Thanksgiving and collaboration, it's a real challenge for just two people, but definitely possible as we made it through. Cute puzzles that were an absolute treat to complete. I appreciate an escape room that can incorporate joy and humor so elegantly with an impending clock!!!

Rating: 3.5/5 - Above average, fun room. Great for kids, families, and beginners. Pros: -Lots of tech, cool lighting, and effects -Fun puzzles and use of animals -Cute theming -Great game master and overall service Could be better: -It's more of a puzzle room than an escape room, but this could be a pro if you just love doing puzzles -Could use more immersion -Could use a bit more polish (for example, some wires/electronics are visible) -Only 1 room, no feeling of discovering new areas It wasn't too hard for 2 enthusiasts but beginners might want 3-4 at least. It's fairly non-linear so there are a lot of things to do simultaneously. This is not on the same level as their excellent Faustus room, so definitely do that one unless you just want a simple, family friendly game.

This company is the best! Lovingly built by an escape room enthusiast! This room is fun and a little wacky. The name of the room pretty much says it all. There were some fun and challenging puzzles. It’s brightly lit and completely non-linear. Go to Columbus and do all their rooms!

This room is so adorable with your attention to detail and the unique animal and barnyard theme. The owners were gracious and patient and extremely passionate about the business. They helped us from start to finish.
