Had a great time. Must be a group of at least 3. Teamwork heavy but so fun.

Very much enjoyed the theme and flow of the room here.

A humorous, dynamic nonlinear room loaded with puzzles and good theming - one of my favorite puzzles rooms to date! Lots of variety, with some very clever puzzling, great theming and a goofy, silly plotline. Not to be missed if you're visiting Beantown.
Yes
Pretty good for a puzzle room.

Some tricky puzzles, but all doable. Would be hard for beginners - don't be afraid to ask for hints.

Kids would find a lot to love here, but would probably need help with understanding the puzzles.

Quite a bit of ducking and crawling required. The last room appears to only be accessible via crawling and back and forth would be required by at least one or two members of the team.
Elevator available to reach the room. No color-based puzzles that I recall. Crawling required to access the last space of the room - there may or may not be a workaround

It's Boston, after all. They have a parking garage for the movie theater. Recommend taking the T, if possible.

Oh my god, this game was so good. So many puzzles and very clever new puzzles.
Incredible and new.
So cool. So clever.
GMs are sweet and wonderful.

I liked the whimsical twist on a heist theme; the set was great and IMHO the strongest point of the game. I thought some puzzles were questionable, though - there were at least two places where I thought improved signposting was needed and one big red herring which we spent a bunch of time pursuing.

There's two places that require crawling, and everyone will probably need to go through at least one section multiple times.

Despite being a highly rated room, this wasnβt my favorite. Maybe itβs because we only had two people and it seems better suited for larger groups, but there was a lot going on and simply not enough time to do it. Some aspects seemed a bit cryptic too. Iβm fairly experienced with escape rooms but this one just left me stressed. When the time ran out, we still had a good amount of puzzle left.

Had a great time! Fun theme, well executed. While the puzzles may not impress a veteran, theyβre delightful for newcomers. Staff was awesome and helpful. Totally recommend this company!
Good theme, flowed well and everything worked!
Clever theme, set well maintained.

This one has been on our list for awhile so when our friend asked if we were up for a game or two, of course we said yes! This was a fun one, there was one particular puzzle that we missed the cluing and our GM offered a nudge. Looking forward to coming back for more Trapology Boston entertainment.

What a fun game. Lots of puzzles which was exciting but can be nerve racking with two people but we got it done! The theme gives you a good goal and immerses you in the role. Trapology is always a blast.
Great theme that gave a clear goal

Fun room with a odd theme. The room design and puzzles definitely matched the theme just odd. Lots of physical crawl throughs (thankfully padding on the ground) which were fine though did involve a lot of back and forth through them. Puzzles were varied and interesting. Communication with GM for hints and time updates is via phone call (one phone has an annoyingly short cord) so no view of time remaining (works with the theme). Definitely a room where communication is key. We did it as a group of three and it worked out well. I wouldn't recommend more than 5 unless everyone is small as we were blocking each other from time to time (unintentionally). Room is fun for kids and still challenging for adults.
2/3rds of our team was running later and their rules about late starts are a little ridged with poor communication. They started our timer before we got to go in, even though those who were there on time could have started when the timer started the option wasn't given. Everyone is very nice, and customer service is generally fine (they were following their policies) but communication could definitely improve. We did two rooms that day and since another group was later instead of part of our group we weren't penalized.

They claim it is the hardest room. Puzzles aren't very challenging (not super easy either) just a lot of them and some require coordination and dexterity.

Much more than 4 unless they are kids would feel very crowded in some of the spaces.

Game requires a lot of crawling through short openings, though as doors aren't locked you can use leave the game and move to the next space via the exit (just breaks immersion. Some things to interact with are harder to reach.
Yes
Yes and No, they have a banner outside the building which helps but enter from a rather non-descript door.
Medium
Boston traffic and parking. Multiple paid parking garages in the area, but give yourself extra time to park and get to the game.
