Our game-master recognized us from when we played one of their games 2 years ago. He greeted us courteously, & allowed us to start our games early. Mayan Curse was easier than Cursed City. We enjoyed both games.

Yikes. No one likes to be disappointed with an escape room, but this…well, lower your expectations immensely. While the theme is fine enough, its execution left a lot to be desired. Upon entering, the room feels more like some kind of weird playpen/daycare for adults that just so happened to be jungle themed. None of the puzzles were intuitive, and the game goes from frustratingly confusing to stupidly easy in about 2 puzzles. Once an annoying sound/memory based puzzle was solved that took the bulk of our time (because it would time-out your inputs almost instantly and we kept having to wait for it to reset), the game suddenly moved at such a rate that we finished it with almost 25 minutes to spare. The GM even said afterward “Wow! Have you guys played escape rooms before because that was unusually fast!”. Not a good sign. Place is located in a downtown bar area so maybe that’s why it’s built like a playpen for adults. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re drunk and want to challenge your cognitive abilities while impaired.
Cheesy, cheap, uninspired. Some neat little touches and details, but mostly felt silly and not particularly well executed.
Something about finding a lost treasure or something, it was too difficult to understand the muffled voices coming through the speakers

Terrible experience. The gameplay was poorly designed and there was nothing intuitive about most of the puzzles. It was the type of room where when you “solve” a puzzle (with help), it still doesn’t make sense and you are left scratching your head. There were also items critical to the game that were missing and/or broken, which made it doubly frustrating. We actually walked out midway through because the whole experience was so bad.
