8 escape rooms
Atmosphere and prop aesthetics were top notch. The puzzles were unique and everything was Alaska/mining themed. However, the game master is an actor in the room with you, and he hovered and gave far too many hints and nudges throughout the whole game, taking away the wonderful aha moments we usually have. That, and the room was very dark making it difficult to see the small, important details, even with the lanterns.
Gameplay
The puzzles were interesting and unique, but between the hovering actor and poor lighting, we didn’t have a good time.

Was anything broken?
Yes
Nothing was fully broken, but one drawer popped open as soon as it started, and I’m not sure it was intentional. Several props or locks were oddly loose or not popping open quite as expected. Just overall a little finicky. The worst thing was when one of the cabinets opened full of tools for the last puzzle, we accidentally bumped it closed and it was impossibly to open again, not even if we redid the puzzles/mechanics to get to that point. So, it was fairly disappointing to lose our chance to finish the game.
Live actors
Yes
The game master with us was kind, but he definitely hovered and kept giving unwanted hints and directions. It felt very undermining and difficult to work through things ourselves.
