46 escape rooms
A defected general has made a series of unreasonable demands and threatens to destroy several European capitals if they are not met. As an ESC agent, it is now your mission to infiltrate the general's bunker and prevent him from carrying out his plan before it's too late. You start in the forest outside the bunker and must figure out how to get inside. We've seen many attempts to recreate forests and jungles in escape rooms, and it's a tough illusion to pull off. Fortunately, Escape Cph has made a commendable effort. Once inside the bunker, the illusion is easier to accept, as it's an office with concrete walls and no windows. There are no padlocks in this room, so all locks are mechanical/electronic, which works quite well. They aren't particularly difficult in our opinion, but sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees, so you have to stay observant along the way. When you solve some of the puzzles, a voice message plays—first in English and then in Danish—which you can replay by solving the puzzle again. It works well, allowing you to catch all the details. On the other hand, the setting could be made more believable by having the messages come from, for example, phones/intercoms or on paper near the solved puzzle, instead of just coming from speakers. All in all, a solid room with fun puzzles and nice features. Number of nuts (max 5) Difficulty level 🌰🌰🌰 Design 🌰🌰🌰 Scare factor 0 Entertainment vs price 🌰🌰🌰🌰
