You and your friends are the brightest first year students at the School of Magic. Use that talent to cast spells/chants that will help you find a Portkey for returning. After traveling to the School of Magic, the portal at Kings Cross Station has mysteriously stopped working. Thankfully, you and your friends are the brightest first year students. You must use that talent to learn new spells and chants that will help you find a Portkey that you need to escape. Be careful, though. Magic is a mysterious thing and can reverse effects if not used carefully.

Theme was fun and decor was impressive! Puzzles were incorporated seamlessly into the decor/space setup with lots of great Harry Potter references. Puzzles were fun to solve and flowed with the plot. Fully recommend.

The theming was really well done. For an experience groups this was easy, but still fun if you like Harry Potter. Would be a good room for first timers or kids.
There was a lot to read, but they do give you enough time to account for that. Puzzles did flow together in a linear fashion.
Some of the best theming I've seen.

Wasn't exactly where Google Maps took us, but you can see it from the parking lot so drive around and you'll find it.

Was looking for an escape room thar was kid friendly and great for first timers. This definitely hit the mark as it was fun, challenging and had a lot of puzzles to solve. Great for kids. Only downfall is there is a lot of reading of clues which can slow you down when trying to read and decipher quickly. The room was set up so cute and the puzzles must be solved linearly. You can't work on another puzzle until the last one has been solved. Other than that, customer service was excellent!!!! The game master I think her name was alexis was very patient and kind. Loved this room!

The Escape Room San Antonio has great employees and rooms! We had so much fun doing The Waldschrate Room, which really made you think and escaped with only 40 seconds to spare, that we booked The School of Magic right after, and it was awesome! We completed the School of Magic with about 1:30 to spare. Highly recommend this place for a great hour of fun to get your brain working! We did our escapes with our family of 4, our youngest being 7 years old, where there was something for everyone to help with! Will definitely be doing this again!
Absolutely flowed well. The storyline was so awesome!
The place was clean and very detailed!
The employees were very cordial and a great help! They let us know what to expect right out of the gate!

The way that they used different clues to unlock doors, or open other clues is amazing!

Great game and definitely felt like we had been transported to a certain wizarding world! This was not very difficult for two players, and we escaped with over 15 minutes remaining. My only complaint is there is a lot of unnecessary reading, but other than that, everything made sense and it was fun to play.

This was a really fun room and even better for the Pottermore fans out there! The puzzles were linear, yet challenging. Also, a very unique way to interact with the game master, that fit the theme perfectly!
Flowed very well, will be a huge hit for Pottermore fans

School of Magic is an incredibly immersive experience that gives STRONG Harry Potter feelings. The set design is incredible and has made me think about whatβs possible in this game space. There were a good balance of number locks and tech puzzle. But a large amount of reading. Each step created another page of lore to read to lead us to each new puzzle creating a very linear experience. We observed a puzzle solution out of order. But worked methodically to get ourselves back onto the linear path. I loved most of my experience in the room and being the first group to play it commercially (just launched room) I am very comfortable overlooking any speed-bumps from the Murphys law protocol.
The gameplay was linear and magical
Super immersive and clearly a labor of love. I felt transported to a world of wizards. Diagonally.
The GM was ok. Overly directed us a time or two but weee where warned they hadnβt trained in the room much. Very friendly but gave a few to many βitβs behind youβ or βitβs in the other spaceβ nudges which broke the immersion a bit.
Not scary
Family friendly with zero jump scares.

Not a live actor, but a really cool NPC that we could interact with.
