46 escape rooms
The thought of being trapped far below the surface of the sea in a metal box with limited amounts of oxygen can send shivers down the spine of most people, but nonetheless, that's the theme of this escape room. The room is the second one created at Escape Room Randers. You've won a trip on the submarine "U-574," a submarine from the Cold War era. Unfortunately, the captain falls ill along the way and loses control of the submarine, which sinks to the bottom. Why the main mission is to launch a missile from the abyss was less clear to us... When you step through the hatch into the submarine, great effort has been put into creating the illusion of being inside a submarine. It's surprisingly well done, with a high level of detail that we greatly appreciated. The puzzles have a good level of difficulty, and you move around all parts of the submarine while trying to find the correct solution to the puzzles. We missed a bit of a thread connecting the story to the end of the room, but that's a minor detail compared to how the rest of the room is developed. There's plenty to do and work with, so with 4 people in the room, we were all well engaged along the way.
