Poison by Kadabra Escape was the thirteenth room on our escape tour in Spain, and it offered a solid, classic escape room experience. The Joker theme was well-executed, with great sound effects that brought his presence to life, making it particularly enjoyable for fans of the comic book or movie character. Some areas of the scenery delivered impressive “wow” moments, adding to the immersion. The focus was on puzzles, which were nicely connected and had a smooth flow throughout the game. We finished just 2 minutes before the 80-minute mark. The ending, however, felt a bit anticlimactic. Overall, it’s a well-rounded room recommended for both newbies and experienced players, especially Joker fans!

I was not terribly excited about this room going in based on content, but it quickly won me over with fun and coherent puzzles, solid interactions/teamwork, and some very cool sets. Also, there was plenty to do for a group of 4. Out of our 33 top-ranked games on this European tour, this one came in at #5 for me. After many games played with head scratching clues, it was joyous for everything to make perfect sense based on what is provided in the game itself. The first couple of scenes were fun, but not amazing, but the game kept building to its very cool conclusion. This is a must play in Spain.

Very fun room with an excellent flow, solid set design, great puzzles & proper signposting (which is something a lot of rooms in the region seem to lack). This room was easily a standout on my 40-room trip across Spain & Greece. Can’t wait to see what this company does next.

The standout of the game for me was the set of the last room. Everything up to then was nice but pretty standard fare, but the last room seemed really customized. The opening video did a great job setting the scene. The puzzles felt a little uneven, and succeeded in varying degrees in making sense in the game's universe. The ending felt weak - escaping felt unexpected instead of climactic (I think because the task right before it was so mundane compared to what we had been doing just minutes prior). Somewhat unusually, one puzzle requires a bit of outside pop culture knowledge. You can solve it without knowing everything, but I don't see what you're supposed to do if you happen to be a monk who's been living on a mountaintop for the past few decades. Like many games in Europe, it's a cold start - as soon as you walk in the door, you're in the game universe. The beginning space, however, was massive - I believe it's because they just have the one game and haven't expanded yet, but it was a real "Welcome to my lair, Mr. Bond" moment to step into a (small) dark warehouse size space with a single spotlight illuminating a table. We played in English with no problems.

This game is great. From the start you are immersed in the thrill of a good designed room. The rooms kept on going and going. The puzzles were all fun to do and weren’t repetitive. It is an 80 minute room and my group used all 80 min.
Puzzles were all fun and diverse. There was some locks but the amount of other puzzles make up for it.
From the moment you walk in the building you are immersed in the “fear” and suspense. In the room itself everything is well polished and fits with the room. The props and overall set were very impressive.
Gm didn’t understand English very well, but it was fine and he was very nice.

It just kept on going and going. The slight horror always kept me on edge and it was great.
Story was good and flowed. Plot was interesting and while it was non original theme (Batman and Joker). It was executed well.
Expert
My group of 5 usually escapes with 10-15 min left and this one we only did with 3 min left. It is an 80 minute room, and we escaped in 77.
High tech
Aside from some locks everything was high tech.
5
Did it with five and it felt just right. The room is open enough to where we weren’t ever cramped.
Scary
A dark room with a dark theme. Occasionally an actor will jump scare you from the outside but that’s it.

Didn’t do anything for the plot or for puzzles but he scared us a couple of times.

Many rooms that you have to walk through. You have to crawl.

We escaped with a group of 5. I think a group smaller than 5 may feel they have to do the game hastily, which may take away from the enjoyment.

Leans towards being quirky which makes sense coming from the Joker. It's a solid room with a handful of humor.
