I would skip this one, lots of things in the room are janky/not working properly. There's much better rooms at the same location. Staff are aware of the negative reviews and issues with the room, they said they will be replacing it soon. You won't be missing out anything if you miss this before it goes.

The room was cool, but the group I was with (people I met at an academic conference) brute-forced some of the puzzles, so that was lame. But definitely not the room's fault so.

This was by far my least favourite room at this location. The room itself looks pretty poor and old compared to others in this location, lots of puzzles felt fragile/finicky/worn down (our GM asked us to be very careful with the puzzles and room due to this fact), a few of the puzzles didn’t really work as intended and required the GM to trigger, the room is right beside their axe throwing a darts so on a busy night like we went it was really distracting hearing all the cheering. There just is a lot better places not only at this location but other companies around for your time/money.

Well, the room was just ok. Not a favourite, I just expected more excitement. The puzzles seemed linear to me. A few of them were very creative.

I’ll start by saying the staff was all great. But this escape room was one of my least favorites and most disappointing. The scenic design and flow seemed like they had minimal budget and a week to design and build. On more than one occasion, our game master had to walkie talkie radio “hey you have it right but the tech isn’t working 100% so do it this way.” Some puzzles just made no sense or had any indication how they were meant to be solved. Gold star for effort but definitely bottom of my list.

I feel like the escape room itself took a backseat to the bar/restaurant and axe throwing offerings at Escape Manor. The physical space itself lacked polish. There were exposed wires, places where the paint job was poor, and a tripping hazard that could have been marked more clearly. I expected more from this room, especially considering it opened towards the end of 2022. It was giving 2016 vibes. For the most part the puzzle flow was ok, with the highlight being a challenge towards the end. I am assuming there was busted tech for the finale, because there was an unlocked trunk with a sign that said not to open it until the end. We inadvertently opened the trunk beforehand and the GM had to tell us not to do that. It was too late at that point because we already saw what was inside. The staff at Escape Manor were nice. It was a busy evening, but they were attentive and kind. I would go back to Escape Manor for drinks and axe throwing. I would hesitate to go back and play another escape room.
