This game was very thoughtful and well done. Most puzzles were unique and not something I’d seen in over 100 games. High tech with no traditional locks or combos. Excellent use of props and clean design. The GM gave us extra time since no rooms were booked behind us which we really appreciated since this room was extremely challenging due to multilayer puzzles and difficult starting points. Some worn out text on one of the puzzles made it difficult to read and pop out. Some of the puzzles triggered early before they were perfectly complete and overall I think this non linear game was difficult to get into a flow due to tricky starting points. Beautiful set and definitely challenging.

Very challenging but fun! If we had played with 4 instead of 2 it would have helped a lot. Couple of very cool unique challenges that I’d never seen prior. Definitely a good room if you like a challenge

I gotta admit ... this was probably my least favorite amongst the Lara Labyrinth's escape rooms. Does that mean it was bad? NO. The set design and theme were on point. There were only a few puzzles and clues that were kind of convoluted and hard to follow. Overall, still a fun room, the puzzles were creative, but I think the clues and directions need to be improved or fleshed out. P.S. Ohh and I remember the GM did come in because the room wasn't reset properly and so he needed to come inside and tell us to get out from one of the rooms. 😆 That was unusual, but that didn't ruin the experience for me.

DaVinci Challenge was, A Challenge, but not impossible! Following a non-linear format, this escape room had quite some unique and clever puzzles that emphasized on teamwork, communication, and creativity. This was a cool split start room, so I would recommend a maximum of 4 players as any more or less would take away from the overall gameplay experience. As Leonardo DaVinci excelled in multiple fields such as architecture, engineering, painting, and cartography, this escape room had tremendous set design and intricate puzzles that blended well with DaVinci’s fields. This escape room was one of the more difficult ones at Lara’s Labyrinth, but it was a great room for a strong and experienced team!
The gameplay was enjoyable as a team, but some puzzles became tedious and not all of the puzzles flowed smoothly with one another.
The atmosphere was phenomenal and very immersive! It really placed you in the theme of DaVinci’s world and the different fields that he specialized in. One small feedback though is that some of the compartments were old and finicky.

This room was phenomenal. Apparently my group broke the record, which was shocking but everything about the room was great. Big range of puzzles, well designed, super thoughtful owner, no hints were given (like we asked)!! I already know I’ll be doing the rest of the rooms. Even the waiting room has thoughtful design.
Wonderful
Owner was incredible. You can tell he loves what he does. He spent the time showing us the other rooms and how excited he is about them. So generous.

Did this room with 9 people, which felt like too many. I think with this many people it's hard to keep track of which clues have already been used and it's easy to miss entire puzzles. Ideal group size probably 4-6. You split up for the room in the beginning, so an even number is ideal. The atmosphere and decor were fun. There were some innovative puzzles, but it was also hard to hear any story voice overs and to hear hints in a big group. Would probably have enjoyed this much more with fewer people.

This room teeters between a thumbs up and a heart fur me. The set is top notch; truly amazing! And several of the puzzles were clever and unique. However, a few of the puzzles were so touchy that it took away some of the enjoyment.
The set is phenomenal. A+
Our GM was very friendly.
Yes
This room has several excellent puzzles.
Hard
This is a very difficult room. Some of the puzzles are overly sensitive to the point of being frustrating.

The only issue that I would foresee is that it could be difficult to hear the hints/GM over the volume of the music.

Tons of puzzles! At times obscure and overwhelming, but maybe that’s because it reminded us of every single school subject we struggled in. With that said, the set is incredible. Use of lighting and sound is perfect. Story is cool. Lots of unique wow moments. Definitely a fun one!

Likely accessible to most! Make sure the building’s elevator is operational though. Today it was broken and we had to go up many stairs. Recommend calling ahead.

This was our 4th room at Lara's and definitely the one that had the most puzzles out of the lot. Our group of 3 got through this room in 45 minutes with a couple of nudges whenever we became too focused on a puzzle we didn't have all the pieces for. The GM was great at redirecting us without giving us the answers. Unlike the other rooms at Lara's, this room focuses heavily on puzzle solving and is best enjoyed if you have any knowledge on DaVinci and his creations or history. It is also important to note that this experience does have a split start so don't bring someone who is entirely new to escape rooms without providing them at leave another person they can be paired with. Overall, I would recommend this for those who simply love puzzles and DaVinci's history as it does present you with numerous unique and clever puzzles. I do not recommend this if you were expecting someone like Cannibal or BeWitched. Compared to those rooms, this one is far less story driven or emotionally enticing as the point is to test your puzzle solving mettle. Truly does a great job of doing so too!
Fun room with tons of puzzles that keep everyone busy. Some of the more complicated puzzles can cause a bit of a pause in the flow but the GM did a good job of nudging you along in these scenarios.
Definitely one of the simpler rooms in terms of designs and special effects but the puzzles encourage interaction and purposeful shifts in perspective on order to solve them.
Our GMs, Lexie and Josie, were amazing and made sure we thoroughly enjoyed our night and experience with as few hiccups as possible. Couldn't have asked for better GMs.
No
Unique decor and puzzles but not particularly interesting overall.
The story follows DaVinci and his history and stories. If you have no love or knowledge of him proir to this room, you likely won't enjoy it as much as someone who has read about him and his inventions
Hard
More on the medium difficulty for moderate to advanced teams but geneal. It starts as fairly easy puzzles and quickly presents you more and more until you become stumped or successfully escape. Several of the puzzles utilize sensors and one puzzle in particular can be very unforgiving with the exact location that you have to place the pieces in.
High tech
You will be utilizing everything from magnets and lights to mirrors and sound. Definitely a very advanced room.

This room is split start and is more enjoyable when each team consists of 2 players. Overall, this room is best experienced in smaller advanced groups as there are several puzzles that can be worked on at the same time. Too many players can overcrowd this experience easily so keep it small for the best opportunities for everyone involved to enjoy themselves.

Most of the puzzles in this room are complicated, making me recommend it for those who can handle thinking through higher level puzzles and games. I wouldn't recommend this for those with a young child as there are plenty of objects to touch that you shouldn't.

You do have to move around a lot and carry a few objects around the room.
Fairly accessible for those with mobility issues but not as friendly for those with color, vision, or hearing issues as those aspects do play important roles in this game.

GPS goes right to it with no issues. Keep in mind it is on the 3rd floor.

Plenty of free and open parking directly across from the building that houses the escape rooms.

This was a very cool designed room. Puzzles were cool some very unique, we hadn’t seen them before. But some were a bit obscure and very sensitive. So A for creativity but B+ for execution. Great game masters too.
There were some good puzzles but they didn’t work well. They were very sensitive and particular. It often felt like the doors opened not because we had the pieces in the right place but because the game master pushed a button.
Atmosphere is very cool. Nicely designed. New and clever puzzles, just wished they worked better and weren’t so obscure at times.
Super friendly. Very cool place. Great game masters!

Cool layout and design. Not scary.
