Have not done a Panic Escape Room since 2019 and a lot more locations and rooms have opened since then, so I did not know what to expect.
True Crime: Podcast Killer was a lot of fun and better than expected. The sets were very solid and felt like we were in a serial killer’s home. The puzzles mostly made sense within this fairly difficult non-linear room, but a few tripped us up where we wasted too much time. As the game progressed into the 2nd room, the room seemed more linear and made more sense, but our earlier struggles made us finish 2 puzzles short of escaping.
Our GM, Cameron, was super enthusiastic and gave us great hints along the way. Cameron even explained what we had left to do in order to escape, which I appreciated.
Overall, we had a lot of fun, everything worked properly in the room, and customer service was great. Will definitely do more Panic ERs.
