Frankenstein

We were excited about this room because it had so much potential. It looks and feels amazing, however, it’s aesthetics is pretty much all it has going for it. Unfortunately there is an excessive amount and search and find which is not our preferred gameplay. It became apparent our game master was unaware how to play the game. The clue provided was irrelevant. At one point we had to be told the solution to one puzzle and when we finished the game, the game master was not only unable to explain the puzzle, but didn’t even know how to arrive at that solution.

Played this room with my kids because they really really wanted to after playing The golden Phoenix at the same venue. Naturally given the theme the room is somewhat dark and spooky but it was (with some awareness raising and talking about the story of Frankenstein beforehand) fine and fun for my kids (~12). As a nice side effect they are now super impressed that Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein at age 18. ;) The second part of the rooms’ story was a bit hard to follow for us but our really great game master explained everything in much detail afterwards. Puzzles and tasks are rather on the easy side, there is quite a lot of search-and-find-the-right-object. Props and decoration including sound design, lighting and smells are a highlight!

This room left us speechless, that's how good it is. The welcome/briefing is in character, and that puts you in the middle of the story immediately. The set design is phenomenal, in its use of lighting and smells. Special shout out to our host that did a magnificent job!

Frankenstein was our first stop on our Escape Tour Germany 2024, and it set the bar high. The atmosphere and special effects were truly impressive, with Miraculum maintaining an exceptionally high standard in décor and attention to detail. Every element felt meticulously crafted, making for an incredibly immersive experience. The only downside was the ending, which felt anticlimactic—I expected a bit more to close out the story. However, this didn’t take away from how much fun and engaging the experience was overall. Highly recommended for all players!

Miraculum… das muss man gesehen haben… man ist von der 1. Minute - ab dem betreten des Buchladens voll im Spiel. Auch der Start des Spiels mit dem Buch ist super! Das Designs des Raumes und die Geschichte waren stimmig und super schön! Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis. Wir haben den Raum zu viert gespielt.

Ein bärenstarker Anbieter! Das Erlebnis beginnt bereits vor der Tür und ist durchweg ein immersives Erlebnis eingebettet in eine traumhafte Kulisse mit tollen Effekten. Ein absolutes must play game!

Beautiful experience. A bit scary but not too much for us, and the final space was really mesmerising, I loved that space and almost everything in it :)

The "Frankenstein" escape room by Miraculum impresses with its dark, detailed atmosphere, instantly transporting players to Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory. The puzzles are varied, well-designed, and cleverly integrated into the story, creating an immersive experience. The difficulty level is challenging but fair, with game masters providing helpful hints when needed. The exciting story is consistently told, keeping players engaged until the thrilling finale. "Frankenstein" is an outstanding escape room, offering a fantastic adventure for both experienced players and newcomers. Highly recommended!

I LOVED this room. I really liked the setting and the decoration. I felt as if I had been teleported into the book. The puzzles were great and technically impressive. Everything worked perfectly, and the finale was amazing—a real "wow" moment. I would rate the difficulty of the puzzles as "medium." What stands out is the introduction. It was incredibly immersive and well done! Our game master absolutely blew us away, and we were excited from the very first moment. There was only one skill-based puzzle that slightly frustrated us, but it’s being removed and replaced (yay for that!). 10/10 must play.
