Beat the clock and save Gotham City once and for all. Gotham City, a metropolis plagued by crime and injustice, is in dire need of heroes. In response to the escalating threats, Batman has initiated a new Gotham City Guardian training program. You have been carefully selected for the program to attempt a new and intense training exercise that includes stopping a training device Batman planted in the heart of Gotham City filled with a non-harmful chemical compound designed to mimic a legitimate chemical leak without the fatality. The device is fitted with a countdown clock that will release the gas in exactly 60 minutes after your mission start time, so you'll have to work quickly.

The room was fine…but for a Batman theme, it seemed a bit lackluster. Members of our group of three found themselves standing around waiting to advance while someone worked on a puzzle. I wish there would have been more elements and puzzles or locks to work with. All in all, it was a good room, but a lot more could have been done with a Batman theme!

3-4. The rooms are on the small side, so any more than 4 would be crowded. Plus, if you had more than 4 players, some would just end up standing around because there’s not enough work for that many people to do.

Glad you enjoyed the room, but sorry it didn't quite meet your expectations for a big name like Batman. They seem to have designed it with easy mode for kids, and hard mode for adults as the standard gameplay, while trying to keep everything fairly modern, and has a mix of physical and mental aspects. Our private games are meant for smaller groups working together, though sorry you felt there was not quite enough to do for your group, and of course this one also has to get the approval of Warner Brothers for every element as well. Appreciate the review, and sorry you didn't like the game. Batman seems to have been designed to allow younger children to play as well, since they created an easy mode and separate hard mode to make things more dynamic for a few puzzles, but honestly wish we had an expert mode to offer as well for more experienced players. Glad to hear you appreciated the immersive atmosphere of the game!

Nice to hear you had a great time, and 4 players does seem to be the sweet spot for our private games, or maybe 6 in some other games. Batman may have been designed for kids with easy mode, while hard mode has a few tougher elements, we do wish we had the option for an expert mode for more experienced players. Thanks for the review!

Very easy yet enjoyable room. I was not personally a fan of the story but it was still a cool experience. The room looked fantastic and super high tech (especially in the first room). The last puzzle drove me mad because I was pressing the right buttons but not spaced out enough or something so I was getting frustrated. Very easy room though great for beginners or fans of Batman.

Thanks so much for the detailed review. Glad you still had a cool experience and appreciated the design, even though the story didn't hold up for you. Sorry for the frustration (something we try to help folks avoid, if they'll let us), but wanted to share that the franchise got the necessary feedback like this and approval from Warner Brothers to make some updates to avoid issues like that in the future. We really loved the new room. It was a really well designed room with a lot of fun puzzles. This was on the easier side but a lot of fun!!

Love to hear you had such a fun time in Batman saving Gotham City! Although it has an easy mode designed for kids, and the standard game is called hard mode, it's a shame for some more experienced players we didn't have an expert mode available.
