The Chimalpopoca Idol was believed to be something of legend. Following your groups discovery of the Pathfinder Totem an expedition was started to try and discover whether this relic truly existed. On the cusp of uncovering the treasure, your group was betrayed. A rival expedition now seeks to steal the treasure for themselves. Now it falls to your group to appease the gods and retrieve the Idol before it’s too late. Will you unlock the treasures or will you too be lost to history?

We visited this as two experienced adult escapist and an increasingly experienced 9 year old escapist. The puzzles were interactive and logical enough for our 9 year old to attempt and enjoy. There were some mechanical puzzles (that I loved) that others may find a bit tricky. Dan had some good suggestions for those. Nicely themed, good puzzles, well hosted. We’ll happily try one of the others next time we’re in the South West!

I played this game with a group of 5 of us, and it was brilliant from start to finish. The owners have done a superb job with their set design, and all the puzzles flowed well with the story. It felt a bit like being in the Aztec Zone of the Crystal Maze, which is a compliment to the owners as I always loved that show. Would definitely highly recommend this room.
