Permanently Closed - Minneapolis in the 60’s and 70’s were the decades of “The Collector.” A deranged killer taunted police with board games and puzzles. Police assembled the largest task force in state history to search for the killer. However, after one year, no arrests were ever made, and the case went cold. The Collector seemed to go dormant, and the entire state rejoiced! Recently, Longmont has had a series of crimes that bear a striking resemblance to the murders by The Collector. Police have received a tip to search where strange noises have been heard from an abandoned silo near a popular brewery. One of your team members arrived two days before you, but all contact has ceased! Investigate the silo, and report back to the chief.

This room was such a treat to play. Lots of puzzles for those who don’t mind splitting up on things. The flow was perfect for us. The scenery was very well done for being in an office space. I highly recommend this room to anyone in Colorado.

Gameplay

Solid, fun puzzles.

Atmosphere

Really well done design for the theme, never seen something like this before.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

Very well executed way of using household games and toys.

Story

Story made sense, but could’ve been better developed near the end. Still worth the place just for the fun puzzles and scenery though.

Difficulty

Expert

We did it as a group of 2 and had over 11 minutes to spare. It was chaotic at times working on completely separate things but if you’ve done a good amount of rooms it’s not too bad. If newer to escape rooms than try to bring 3-4.

Not really physically active but there is a lot of back and forth between rooms.

Easy to find location

Once at the building, go through the front doors and there are elevators. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and then go to the right and down the hall to the sign that says Atlas Escape Room.

Parking

Easy

We parked right next to the front entrance.

The set design was soooo fun! As a board game enthusiast, I approve! It had soo many puzzles! This would be great for large groups or hardcore enthusiasts.

We had a good time solving all the puzzles in the Collector. The multi-room puzzle revolves around board games and once we progressed far enough to focus on the important parts it went fairly quickly. I recommend at least 4 players. We only had 3 and didn't finish in an hour. This is the 3rd escape room we have done at Atlas and they are all different and very clever! Highly recommend, my grandkids love the challenge!

The theme is unique. It seems alot at first but with the right amount of people its manageable. They forgot to reset a clue that had us going in circles for a bit, which was annoying, but they added time back on the clock for us. Overall, a good room that I would recommend.

Very interesting room where the first room's decor can be overwhelming, but if you divide and conquer your team will be able to chip away at all the puzzles. The rooms at this company tend to put a ton of puzzles into their rooms so prepare to do many little puzzles with traditional locks. That was the downer for me was that I loved the theme, decor and amount of puzzles but I wish they didn't rely so heavily on traditional locks. All other aspects of the room was very creative and I would love to see more of that in locks/solutions. Because the room is huge, 6 people was a great number to have. It's on the tougher side so beginners, beware!

Very nice staff. Visually elaborate room. Lots of safes/locks to solve concurrently. Individual puzzles are not too difficult, though. Clues are welcomed.
