Permanently Closed - Teleport beyond earth and into a realm where the darkness is absolute. In the depths of space, a lone station faces terror beyond all imagination. An extraterrestrial mutation has invaded the station, and it’s on the prowl for new hosts. The unearthly inhabitants’ force increases as it feeds on its unwilling victims. I’m not a big sci fi fan, but this house was very well done. I’m a sucker for animatronics, even very basic ones, so I loved all the malfunctioning robots!

Dark Entities is one of my favorite reoccurring haunts. They change the set up little every year but the atmosphere and the story were still great this year.

While many may dislike this maze (and I can understand why), I remain one of the few who enjoy it. Perhaps it is the thought of isolation in space with deadly aliens that speaks out to me. The effect of jumping through a teleporter and looking out a window into the great vastness of the cosmos is splendidly done. From there, the quality varies. Some scares remain effective, and a few set pieces stand out, but one of the maze's most glaring faults is its pacing. Instead of a slow buildup of suspense, the audience is immediately thrown into the terror. If this is the last year for Dark Entities, I salute and thank it for all its years of service, but it is time to replace it with something more effective.

I want to like this maze and as much as I try, it just falls very flat. It feels outdated and not enough talent. I give it a chance every year but alas it just doesn't work.

I believe this is Dark Entities’ last year with Knott’s Scary Farm and it was packed with more Scareactors this year. The actors were really trying and working hard but unfortunately the maze as a whole falls short for me. I love aliens but the story did not do them justice. There were some great tricks and some of the animatronics were quite neat. Half of the Scareactors were either wearing a mask or had make-up on. I never liked parts of the mazes where the ground vibrated hard, it’s not a pleasant feeling. I hope they give aliens a chance in the future but this maze has gotta go.

It’s okay. But it’s about space and aliens. So I personally wasn’t a fan. Could use some more cool moments and effects as well. Still worth going through while you are there.

It has some really fun set pieces. Not especially scary or well staffed in 2022 but the previous year it definitely had a little more life in it. The photo op in the front is great!
