Baker Street Mystery challenges players to solve a murder mystery while attempting to dismantle the notorious Baker Street Five, a high-profile gang that has been terrorizing Victorian London. Can you carefully observe your surroundings, pick up on the subtlest of clues, and correctly piece together the information to identify the members of the Baker Street Five before the trail grows cold?

Badly designed room. We were missing two pieces of two puzzles. Its a bad experience with big logical leaps to get the solution of the puzzle after you’ve finished it. If you’ve put together all the pieces in the puzzle in the correct order and then have to get a hint to figure out how they want you to get the solution, and then try that solution on every single lock in the room because there are multiple locks with the same number of digits/letters, its poorly designed.

Fantastic room with a ton of logic clues! My husband and I escaped, though it may have been easier with a few extra people!

A solid room. Lots of puzzling. Escape Hour Austin likes to stay unique in their puzzling which is great. One of the puzzles (alphabet) used more than once was a little less intuitive than everything else. Immersive sets. Great way to get hints that didn't disrupt the vibe!

Very enjoyable puzzle. Maybe one or two things that we probably wouldn’t have gotten without a hint. Otherwise, good puzzles and mechanics. Our host, Leah, was very nice and helpful. After reading that it’s the worst room there, I’m very excited to come back to try others. The Crypt was on my wishlist, but the timing didn’t work for us today.

Some of the puzzles have some pretty big logical leaps. Plus, there were some parts that were sort of used multiple times or an item that had a couple uses, which was not as straightforward as were used to.

Best for more experienced players due to the at-times obtuse clues. Lots of puzzles, some with similar locks.

A reasonably good escape room when evaluated in isolation, but it pales in comparison to everything else at Escape Hour, so it feels quite lackluster if you’ve done any of the other ones at this location. If you haven’t done the other games here already, we definitely recommend trying those first, to get a better idea of what Escape Hour really has to offer.

We love all the rooms at Escape Hour and this is no exception! Great room, atmosphere, and host! The puzzles flowed nicely with a mix of tech and old school. Every detail is thought through. We did get stuck on a few puzzles and might not have come to the answer without a hint or clue, but that didn’t bother us one bit. We loved this room and would recommend to everyone.
