This one was a tough one for me to review. Part of me wanted to give a big ❤️. The theme, atmosphere and GM were all great just like all of the Netherworld rooms. The story was good. This room was unique at Netherworld in that there was only one traditional lock. The rest were electronic keypads or triggered doors based on completing a task. With a bigger group I may have given this a ❤️. Like all the Netherworld rooms, there is a lot to do in this room. One of our biggest issues was that we really struggled with the keypads because the keypads had no tactile feedback. You relied on hearing a beep to know you inputted a number. But, there is a lot of background sounds going on which hinder your ability to hear the keypad. And the low lighting made it difficult to see the keypad (at least with our 50+ yr old eyes. Lol). One keypad was not responding well and required the GM to come in with the clock still going. (Of course the keypad worked for her. Lol). Another challenge we had was the low lighting made it extremely difficult to use the provided electronic notepad and IMO you really needed to take notes for several puzzles. Trying to use your cellphone flashlight while trying to quickly take notes wouldnt work very well. In addition, there are several minutes of theatrics where you stop to watch whats going on and/or are in complete darkness. Lastly, several of the puzzles require 2 people and are quite time consuming. All of this added to the experience and was very fun but sucked a lot of time off the clock. So, unfortunately what made the room so cool also made it a frustrating escape room for the two of us.

Cool set, design and story. But what made it cool also made it a frustrating escape room for the two of us. Read my review for details.
